Yet, my recent visit to Frantoio Gargiulo in Sant’Agnello, Sorrento, was a revelation—a journey through time and taste that left an indelible mark on my palate and soul.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with the warmth and hospitality that is quintessentially Italian. Our guide, a passionate custodian of local traditions, transported us back in time, painting vivid pictures of agricultural life from a century ago. The stories of traditional houses, ancient tools, and the manual labor of olive harvesting were not just tales but a living history that resonated deeply with my love for culinary heritage.
