- Centro Historico de Betanzos - Visiting Betanzos offers the opportunity to explore one of Galicia’s most enchanting and historic towns. The tour includes a stroll through its well-preserved old town, featuring cobblestone streets, stately homes, and bustling squares. Visitors will learn about the history of this former capital of the Kingdom of Galicia by visiting Gothic churches like San Francisco and Santa María do Azogue, and appreciating its civil and religious architecture. The walk also allows time to soak in the town’s traditional ambiance and, if desired, sample the renowned Betanzos-style Spanish omelette, celebrated as one of Spain’s finest. This experience beautifully combines culture, history, and flavor in an authentic and welcoming environment.
- Betanzos - The Betanzos-style Spanish omelette is a culinary icon of Galicia. Crafted with free-range eggs, Galician potatoes, and no onion, it is distinguished by its juicy, creamy texture and slightly runny center, in line with local tradition. Its rich flavor and simple yet meticulously prepared recipe make it a true delicacy. During the visit to Betanzos, there will be an opportunity to taste this specialty, offering a culinary experience that is integral to the town’s identity. It is undoubtedly the perfect occasion to savor Galicia in its purest form.
- Tower of Hercules (Torre de Hercules) - Situated in the city of A Coruña, the Tower of Hercules is the oldest Roman lighthouse still in use worldwide and one of Galicia’s most iconic sites. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this remarkable 1st-century structure has been guiding sailors for nearly two millennia. The visit includes exploring its surrounding sculpture park, enjoying breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, and—if desired—ascending to the top of the tower for a spectacular panoramic view of the Galician coast. It is a must-see to uncover Galicia’s maritime history and Roman legacy.
- La Coruna - Following the cultural tour, there will be free time to enjoy lunch and experience the local cuisine at a leisurely pace. A wide selection of restaurants, taverns, or traditional bars offer typical Galician dishes such as seafood, octopus, empanadas, or meats—catering to various preferences. It is the perfect opportunity to relax, discover the region’s flavors, and immerse in the local atmosphere before continuing the excursion.
- La Coruna - A guided tour of A Coruña will explore its main historical and cultural attractions. The tour will reveal the charm of its old town, the lively María Pita Square, the modernist architecture, the port, and its vibrant seafront promenade, while the guide shares the history and intriguing facts about this iconic Galician city open to the Atlantic.

The Crystal City - A few days ago make the route of the historic center of the city of La Coruña. I already knew coruña, but I still decided to make the visit again; since years ago I had already made that route. Although I didn't remember doing it with an official guide. It has been a great experience and Mateo the guide made it very enjoyable explaining in detail to me and the other attendees in a very clear way the history of the city. How it grew into what is now the so-called glass city. He told us about his cultural level, his heritage, he showed us ancient buildings, churches and gardens that today are part of a great city loaded with great events that marked a before and after in its history and in the lives of many of the Coruñas who were born in it. Its landscape beauty is also something that stands in its favor. It is its stunning beaches Riazor and the Orzan that bathe its coast and it should be remembered that the latter in 2010 won a beach award with the sound of the most beautiful waves in the world thus becoming a reference for many people who wanted to know those waves and hear that sound that had impressed so much the organizers of that contest in the Polish city of Slupsk. I can't forget of course the Hercules Tower Lighthouse. The oldest Roman lighthouse in the world. Declared a UNESCO heritage site in 2009, built in the 1st century AD. C. and which also has its own story accompanied of course also by a magnificent legend. I thank Mateo, Galicia Experience and Tour Galicia for the entertaining and enriching morning that passes. I'm sure I'll repeat this visit one day. I really enjoyed it. Today for my Coruña is not only the city of glass. It is a city that offers us all the opportunity to know the legacy of which one day I fight to defend it so that today we can all enjoy it and the great history that today makes it a great reference for many other cities for its great state of conservation.
