A great way to start exploring Santiago de Compostela - Alex was a great guide. We are a group of three & there were three others on the tour. Two of the six had some walking difficulties and Alex made sure we all kept together. He had time for everyone. A very interesting tour and he encouraged everyone to take part. The tapas & drinks were great too!!

Incredibly well done - I did the tour with my husband and another couple. Alex kept us informed before the trip and everything was seamless. Alex is such a delight to listen to and has so much knowledge about the area. He took us to hidden gems that we wouldn’t have come across if not for his expert guidance. He gives you a complete rundown about the city and explains the gastronomy so well. He has a passion for this city and you can tell with his enthusiasm. He takes you to places that aren’t pushy or force you to buy something when sampling. Highly recommend if you are short on time as this 2.5 hours tour is more than enough to get you to fall in love with Santiago de Compostela.

Tapas Experience - Wonderful experience and our guide Alex made it all the more enjoyable. He explained fully the traditions of the Galician people and the tapas we savoured were all local delicies

Great food and wine tour in a gorgeous old city - This was a terrific tour. We walked through the markets of Santiago, chatting with merchants, visited a store that sold nothing but chestnut related foods, and then strolled through the tapas restaurant area of the city, stopping at three places, enjoying hyperlocal wine and vermouth, and eating cheese and salami, pasta and tuna, and fresh fish. Alex, our guide, was really friendly and was a wealth of information about the city, the Galician history, culture, and language, and the way the food and wine reflected the culture. Plenty to eat, too: Great way to spend an afternoon in this beautiful city

A good food tour. - Good tour. The tapas was good and the wine was great. The Angry Tiger mussels were amazing, especially when you dipped your bread in the left over sauce. Didn’t cater all that well for non-meat eaters. We did get cheese though.

Underwhelming - There was very little food offered at the three tapas locations. We were given tastes of some interesting things, but cumulatively it did not amount to a meal.
