This was a truly unique... - This was a truly unique experience! Will had a plethora of knowledge about the history of Chile. He was capable, attentive, and well-versed. He offered wonderful suggestions on shopping, activities, and food in Santiago. The ride was a once-in-a-lifetime experience! This is a wonderful way to see Chile and Santiago from a new perspective! Will's confidence and care in his work were evident, making our party feel at ease. If you have the opportunity to take part in this experience, we highly recommend it! Thank you so much!

Not a Horse Person—Until This Ride Changed My Mind - I’ll admit, I was pretty hesitant about this horseback riding tour. I’m not really a “horse person” and wasn’t sure what to expect. But honestly, I was blown away.
The horse I rode was this solid, calm Chilean Criollo—totally chill and super easy to ride, which helped a lot since I don’t have much experience. The trail itself was stunning. We crossed little streams, wound through the mountains, and had these amazing views the whole time. And the best part? It’s all surprisingly close to Santiago. Made for a really pleasant afternoon out of the city without feeling like a huge day trip.
This was actually my second tour with Chile Off Track during my time in Chile, and both experiences have been top-notch. The guides speak great English and really take the time to share a lot about the culture and history of the country. On this ride, our guide even had his own horse and was clearly passionate about what he does, which made the whole thing feel even more special.
We wrapped up the ride with a picnic—fresh bread, cheese, fruit, ham, and wine. Super relaxed, super peaceful. Just a really great day all around.

A grand horseback riding experience through the hills of the Andes - A magnificent horseback riding experience through the hills of the Andes. Gustavo, our private Waso (Chilean cowboy!) guide pointed out all of the flora and fauna along a beautiful path overlooking Santiago. His concern for our safety was a priority and the horses, just lovely. We ended our journey with a delicious barbecue lunch.

Horseback riding by the sunset - We went on the sunset horseback ride. It was a wonderful private guided tour. The view was spectacular and very worth it by sunset hour. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. They were also able to pick us up and drop us off at our residence. It was a very informative tour - we got to see some rare birds and a good amount of fauna. We spent about 3 hours horseback riding on the trail and the horses were amazing and very adorable. It was well worth the price.

Calm and Relaxing Horseback Riding in the Andes, great views - As this is my first time visiting Santiago, I am more enthralled by the magnificent mountains that frame the city, so horseback riding on the Andes was a no-brainer. The ride took us through easy trails that gave us magnificent views of the city, and the timing of the ride (at sunset) was brilliant in terms of the light and the weather conditions.
Grateful that Chile Off Track was able to squeeze me into a group as a sole traveler at short notice. Communication and logistics were excellent. Will was an excellent guide whose love of the land and country was evident. We were accompanied front and back (by another rancher), while hospitality was provided by Will's wife and sister in law. The wine and cheese picnic and light hearted conversation at the end was icing on the cake.

So much fun! - Our guide, Gustavo, led us around open trails and showed us how to ride in a slow paced and casual environment. We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the day.

Excellent and memorable experience riding in the Andes. Highly recommend. - Will, Mirta and Orlando were very friendly and professional guides. We all enjoyed this activity very much and it was a memorable and well organized outing. The ride was a good length followed by a lovely picnic to end and the ranch was located only a short distance from Santiago which made it even better. Thank you for a great experience.

excellent experience! - We had a wonderful private tour into the Andes mtns! Our guide, Will, picked us up promptly for the agreed upon pick up site. The company gave helpful tips in getting to the pickup site and things to do in that area. The horses were gentle and surefooted along the trail through the canyons. Will pointed out sights along the way and was very knowledgeable in culture, history and nature. We were even lucky enough to see eagles, condors, Chilean meadowlarks, quail, and the ranch dog even chased a rabbit across our path! I was interested in the tree-like cacti and Will went out of his way to make sure I saw them up close and even took pictures of us with them. When we got back to camp, Will's wife, Mirta, had prepared a charcuterie feast of fresh, local meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts and bread along with Chilean wine! This was a fabulous and memorable trip and highly recommend: do not miss this incredible opportunity!

Excellent tour - Wonderful private
tour! We had excellent communication prior to pick up with lots of helpful tips to guide us safely to our pick up spot(since our hotel was outside the pickup range. Our guide Will, was prompt and he was extremely knowledgeable about the city, the culture and set the tone for our fabulous horseback adventure. The horses were gentle and our ride was wonderful. We saw such beautiful scenery: with the Andes as a backdrop, we saw eagles, condors, meadowlarks, quail, a rabbit and the large statuesque cacti. Will was very attentive in getting many photos for us.
After our ride we sat down for a tasty charcuterie of all local cheeses, meats, and of course wine! A truly wonderful adventure thanks to Will and his wife making it such a memorable experience!
