Transfer from San Antonio cruise port to Santiago - Our guide Alexis did an amazing job during a long travel day. Our bags from the cruise port were loaded and unloaded at hotel as described. We visited a winery, Santiago and Valparaiso. Beautiful day.

Great winery and Santiago city tour. - MTO was very considerate in adjusting the pickup time to a later time. The Unduragga Vineyard tour was very relaxing. The gardens of the vineyard was very beautiful. We missed to see some of the sites in the Santiago city tour because of an event happening in downtown Santiago but our driver /tour guide brought us to other sites that were less crowded.

Great post-cruise experience - Alexis did.a.very nice job hosting and guiding us, and Hernan did the same driving. Alexis has a great personality and made the trip from San Antonio to Santiago education and enjoyable. The tour of Underraga Vineyard was a real highlight, and Alexis also did a nice job of serving as an English interpreter during this primarily Spanish-speaking tour. The brief city tour of Santiago was helpful and.lunch at El Galeon was excellent, although it might have been helpful to swap the timing of these as everyone was pretty hungry by the time we got to Santiago and the city tour might have been more engaging after lunch. Alexis also provided some nice recommendations at the end of the tour, going so far as to remind us we have his phone number and not to hesitate contacting him by phone or WhatsApp if we needed anything during our stay. It was a really thoughtful touch and was entirely sincere. So, all-around this was a very positive experience and a really nice way to transition from our cruise to Santiago. Thanks, Alexis, and all the best to you!

Disappointed in Santiago - We wanted high lights of Santiago, we got valaporaso, lunch purchased by ourselves, lots of driving little of Santiago. Alex and driver were very good , we were to go to the airport. Very last minute. Your company sells one tour and you get something in tirely different

Na - There is nothing wrong with the trip but Viator sucks. It gives me a reward credit but would not reinstate and supposing to be a validity of 180 days but appears only have a 60 day expiration.

Not entirely what was promised. - Pickup was late, we get a message from the driver saying he was 40 minutes away at pick up time. Get dropped off at the hotel at 15:00, so the trip was barely 6 hours rather than the advertised duration. There were some parks that we quickly drove past. We did get to see the Statuario de la Immaculafa Concepcion which we had to pay for the entry tickets. The winery was excellent and I happily bought some of their wine. The vehicle was listed as a minivan but was actually a small car. So small that one of our two suitcases got to ride in the front seat. If this had been a group of three it would never have worked.

MTO tours - The tour itself was nice, Daniel did a great job. My issue is mostly with Viator and MTO tours. My communication with Viator was that Daniel from MTO tours would pick us up at 8:00 AM, and that he would be early. I booked a small group tour in an air conditioned van that was to last 7-8 hours. Daniel arrived at 8:40 in his Toyota Yaris, which is clearly his personal vehicle. It did look like he had made an effort to clean it, but it was not professionally cleaned and I had an allergic reaction to his car air freshener. One of the first things that he said was that he had another tour in the afternoon. Once I recovered from the shock at the beginning, Daniel did a nice job with the tour. He answered our questions and took us to two hills, one of which had a great gondola ride for $5 for the two of us, and he toured downtown with us. He showed us the outsides of many buildings, but we only went inside of the cathedral. He translated for us so that we could buy inexpensive, nice souvenirs, showed us where to buy food, and appreciated us. It was a nice time. When I finally got him to tell me the time of his second tour, it was at 3:00. He would need to drop us off at the airport at just after 2:00, which made this a 5 1/2 hour tour. Maybe if we had the 7-8 hours that we booked, we could have seen the insides of some of the buildings.

Don't book this tour - Tour was nothing like the description. We took this transport from San Antonio. Pick up said 8AM, we waited 2.5 hours for the last couple to arrive, who were no-shows. The guide described where we were going to go, which was nothing like the description given on Viator. We went to Valpariso, a different city along the ocean, stopped for lunch, went to a winery not listed in the tour, and then were dropped off at our hotel. When I showed the guide the description of our tour per Viator, he said MTO was to blame, not him. Two other couples on the bus also had different descriptions of the tour. It was like they consolidated all of the tours they had booked that day and put us all on the same bus. The only reason I give this 2 stars instead of 1 is due to the guide who was very informative about what we were seeing and spoke good English. Recommend if you sign up and pay for this tour to bring a water bottle as there is no water available for tour guests, and hopefully you don't care about where you are going.
