As the sun began to rise over the vibrant city of Medellin, I found myself eagerly anticipating the adventure that lay ahead. The allure of exploring the origins of two of the world’s most beloved indulgences—coffee and chocolate—had drawn me to the Coffee & Chocolate Experience nestled in the lush landscapes of Santo Domingo. With my passion for nature and conservation, I was particularly excited to witness the artisanal processes that these small, family-run farms employed.

Our guide, Sara, greeted us with a warm smile as she picked us up from our hotel.
