Searching for activities in Santo Domingo? This hiking and rappelling adventure is perfect for you. Experience the thrill and excitement!
Difficulty Level: High. Participants should be in good physical condition. Rappelling and swimming are required, but no prior experience or swimming skills are necessary.
The group meets at 8 AM and embarks on a 2-hour drive to the town, where they will meet the rappelling experts.
After a warm-up session, the adventure begins with a hike uphill and then downhill towards the stream. The group hikes upstream to visit La Culebra waterfall, where they will practice light rappelling. The journey continues downstream to the Tabernacle Thundering Waterfall (featured in another experience). Participants can choose between a guided or independent rappel down this 25-meter waterfall, which is the highlight of the trip. The adventure proceeds downstream through swimming holes, jumps, and slides until reaching the end.
Participants then change clothes (note: there is no dressing room, but they will not return to the car wet).
Finally, the group enjoys lunch and returns to Santo Domingo, arriving happily by 5 PM.
