Full history and culture experience - This was a great day trip to capture the history and culture. Restaurant stop was good as well as the cenote's. Perfect amount of time and not rush. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this tour.

BE LIKE NIKE AND JUST DO IT!!!!! - THIS TRIP WAS AMAZING!!!! My husband and I loved it from start to finish! A tour to Santo Domingo from Punta Cana is no easy feat lol it took about 2 1/2-3 hours of travel from the resort but the trip was relaxing! We had a group of about 12 from all different resorts which made it enjoyable! The trip started with us heading to the “Cenotes”, then to “la Zona Colonial” followed by an amazing meal at Imperial Restaurant and then we hit the streets of Santo Domingo to the “Panteón Nacional” located there, the chocolate factory known as “Choco Pick,” (WHICH WAS AMAZING - I’m craving their chocolate as we speak!) as well as the “Museo de las Casas Reales.” Willie Núñez was our tour guide and he was PHENOMENAL!!! He had a wealth of knowledge, was extremely personable and the perfect personality for his job! He was so gracious and patient with my husband who doesn’t speak Spanish at all! He had no problem translating and made a huge effort to make sure he understood all the info and instructions! Ronald was our driver and he was so kind and great with our group! I cannot recommend this excursion more and hope to repeat it on our next trip!!!

Do not miss Santo Domingo! - First and foremost I had a great experience because of my guide Willy Nunez! I was the only English speaking Guest on this particular tour and Willy went above and beyond making sure he explained everything to me, as well as making sure my questions were answered and he repeatedly checked in with me to make sure I was enjoying the tour. Solo travelers, do not hesitate to book this tour! Santo Domingo is vastly different from Punta Cana and this particular tour greatly enhanced my vacation as well as imparting along the very interesting history of this treasured island. The cenotes were unique and verdant geographical points. I loved the chocolate factory and the shops we visited. The museums were full of sights and interesting Dominican history as well as artifacts, the abundant architecture was noteworthy…dinner was delicious!!

Would recommend - Pick up times were changed several times & pick up late however driver apologised for confusion. Will, the tour guide was very knowledgable and took us around the city showing us various points of interest with enthusiasm . Lunch was nice with plenty to eat. The driver to & from Santo Domingo got us there & back without issue.
