Santo Domingo is among the oldest cities in the Dominican Republic and our excursion takes you on a journey into its long-held past, uncovering the rich history.
The tour commences with a visit to ‘Los Tres Ojos’, a site of majestic caves and lakes with elevated sulfur content and stunning beauty.
We then venture to the Colonial Zone, home to the most remarkable and historic structures from the colonisation era. We stroll along Calle Las Damas, stopping by the National Pantheon and the First Cathedral of America.
In Conde Peatonal and Calle Las Damas, you have some free time to explore and perhaps purchase a souvenir. The place offers a wide array of local crafts and products like Mamajuana, Rum, Tobacco, and then we proceed to a local restaurant to relish a sumptuous Dominican meal of Rice with Stewed Beans, Stewed or Fried Meat, Fish, Vegetables, Garden Salad, Pasta, Fruits, etc.
Finally, we halt to admire the striking Faro a Colon.
