Best way to experience Soba noodles in Japan. - What an amazing experience, the guides were so nice and helpful that it made for a memory of a lifetime. The food however was next level of umai-awesome!!! We ended up rushing over the next day for a follow up lunch. I can't recommend this experience highly enough.

Very happy we chose to do this and enjoyed our lesson! - Wife and I had a really nice casual experience making soba. There was a mistaken double booking so we watched a family go before us; no big deal. The instruction was easy and the staff answered our questions with the help of google translate and our remedial Japanese. After, the noodles were cooked by them and served with broth, sides, and tempura. It was a nice hour spent from all of the shopping and such. And now I’d like to try to make more pasta (soba and other) at home!

A unique cooking adventure in Sapporo - This was a fun and different experience for me in Sapporo. It was nice to come in from the cold and take this cooking class. The hosts were very nice, and although they don't speak a lot of English, they do speak some, and for the demonstrations, it wasn't all that necessary. I was happy they still let me do the tour even though I was only one person. The tempura that they make to accompany your noodles is very delicious. It was also my first time to try sake. I made my noodles a little too thick but I still enjoyed the experience and interacting with the lovely hosts. The restaurant isn't far from Shiroi Koibito park, and the location is in the photos included on this site.

close to as advertised - Very charming non English speaking young lady, and a less engaging English speaking fellow. Not thetwoladies in their promotional picture. They delivered everything expected. They're at the end of the orange line. Plan on a 40 trip via subway and walk to get there from main Jr station. The soba noodles were cold, but the sake was plentiful. Small shop, seating for 6-8 people.
