- Saqqarah - At 08.00 AM You will be picked up from your hotel by Egypt Royal Tours representative to visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest major stone structure. It was built in the 3rd Dynasty for King Zoser, which built by his genus architect Imhotep who is considered the first architect in history of humanity as he could to build the first free standing monument of limestone, then the pyramid of King Teti the founder of the sixth dynasty and the mastabas of the high officials that painted and carved with daily life scenes such as hunting, fishing, making offerings and sowing.
- Memphis and Sakkara - After that transfer to Memphis city which was founded by King Menes, and was the capital of Egypt during the Old Kingdom, it was considered to be a center of rule and culture for over 3000 years the first capital of Egypt, and see the Statue of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx of Memphis.
- Pyramids of Dahshour - Then Proceed to Dahshur to get inside the Red Pyramid (the oldest true Pyramid in history) and see the Bent Pyramid the most preserved Pyramid, and it was the first failure attempt to build the true pyramid which the architect noticed that the cracks on the burial chamber walls that forced him to change the plan and the angle of inclination that made it truncated in the shape.
Then you will get your lunch in nice restaurant, after that transfer you back to your hotel.

An educational and exciting excursion to ancient Egypt:) - I booked the private tour to Sakkara, Memphis and Dahschur with my father and didn't regret it for a second.
We were picked up on time by our driver and then immediately met our tour guide Walid (Lido), who greeted us warmly with lots of charm and humor. Right at the beginning, the hospitality showed: We were invited for coffee, and for everyone there was water during the drive. When we were on our way to Sakkara, Lido also told us some things about Cairo in general, which was also very interesting.
Afterwards we visited Sakkara – an impressive complex where you can still see hieroglyphics on the walls and beautiful tombs in one of the pyramids. Afterwards we continued, and we were invited for a drink in a carpet school, where the procedures were explained to us very interestingly. There is no compulsion to buy there, and one is warmly welcomed.
Afterwards we continued to Dahschur, where we could see the Red Pyramid and the Articulating Pyramid. We were offered the opportunity to visit both from the inside, which I would really only recommend to sporty people, however, as it can be very strenuous.
Then our way continued to Memphis, where Lido explained many interesting things to us and even helped us negotiate with local businessmen as we shopped for souvenirs.
Memphis was followed by a longer drive, where we were able to soak up the busy city life of Cairo. The driver was really very pleasant and took us safely from A to B.
We went to the Royal Lotus Restaurant for dinner afterwards, where there was a buffet and we only had to pay for the drinks ourselves. The food was also absolutely perfect for us as vegetarians, and we could eat ourselves really full after a long day.
After the meal followed a short trip to a papyrus production, where the entire process was explained in detail. Also there we were offered drinks, and the staff were very friendly. Again, there was absolutely no need to buy.
All in all, it was a very successful and eventful day that I will remember forever. It was really beautiful and everything was superbly organized.

Italian guide fantastic tour - Our guide with a very good Italian proved to be really very prepared and tireless in telling us the story of the Egyptians in an extremely detailed way. It took us on an extremely complete tour and without wasting time with stops in shops. Thanks for everything!!!

Southern pyramids and Memphis - The tour was excellent and fulfilled all our sightseeing objectives for the southern pyramids pyramid and temple areas.
Our guide, Muhammad, was very knowledgeable and courteous and the drive was safe and comfortable.
Overall a great tour and very good value

カイロ郊外のピラミッドツアー（サッカラ、メンフィス、ダハシュール）Pyramids tour outside Cairo (Saqqara, Memphis, Dahshur) - ドライバー、ガイドの方の対応は非常に丁寧でよいツアーでした。６時間を十分使い細かく案内してくれました。帰る途中で申し込んだツアー会社のマネージャーの方が飛び込みで乗車し、とても楽しい会話で思い出に残るツアーとなりました。
The driver and guide were very polite and it was a good tour. They used the six hours to give us a detailed tour. On the way back, the manager of the tour company we booked with jumped in and we had a very fun conversation, making it a memorable tour.

Family sightseeing of pyramids in the desert - Highly recommend to see those pyramids. You may get inside Sakkara, totally worth it. Close by there is a tomb of king and princess with well preserved hierogryphs (I hope I spell it right). Dashur pyramid is challenging :-)
Memphis was smaller than we thought, they plan to make further excavations in the future.
We had a great trip with Abdo, our tour guide. He got us some snacks and drinks beforehand, as there are no shops around.

The Queen of Giza - We had an amazing day with Sugar Queen. She was an informative and fun tour guide who knows the Giza area very well. We did a lot of laughing, dancing and singing throughout the day. Sugar Queen was accomodating and helpful with anything and everything we wanted to do. Would highly recommend! Thanks for an amazing tour, Sugar Queen!

Best explanations by Mo - Today we went on a trip with our guide Mo. He and the driver assigned to us were great and super friendly.
We started our visit in Dashur were we were able to go inside the pyramid which was totally worth it!
In Dashur, Memphis, and Saqqara Mo was able to provide us with all the information we needed and wanted. He had a good balance between giving us the history and explaining the hieroglyphics as well as making it a fun experience without listening to a guide for hours on end.
Also do not be afraid to ask if you want more time somewhere to take some pictures. Mo is happy to give you all the time you need to further explore on your own.
Just a small tip: if you use the Cairo pass or are paying by yourselves every sight (3 in total) asked for a 10 pound car fee you will need to pay. No issue for us but good to know.

SCAM ALERT!! THIEVES who don't understand English or French - First of all, we were charged USD 45 at the last minute because we changed the pick-up point from the city center to the airport. In addition, we had zero communication with the guide. The agency made the guide and us wait for 45 minutes—time that we lost from the tour we paid for. The guide was in front of the airport while we were inside, even though we told the agency we were waiting there, and they had agreed.
While we were waiting for the guide, they cut off all communication until the guide had to call us himself. To make us accept this exorbitant price, knowing that we had no other solution, they said we could pay by card. Then, we learned that we could not pay by card (CONTRARY TO WHAT THE AGENCY HAD JUST TOLD US), and the agency proposed we pay via a machine that included an additional outrageous commission fee.
By the end of the tour, the agency finally contacted us asking "what's your problem?", from which we understood they couldn't understand English or French. The guide managed to fix this issue by making us pay for multiple entrance tickets, and reminded us not to forget the tip.
Apart from this, and independent of the agency, the guide and the driver met our expectations. The guide was a knowledgeable Egyptologist and spoke very good French. At the end of the day, we were very satisfied with him. We hope to meet him when we come back to Egypt under better circumstances!
