Best experience you can have in Sarajevo - The experience was absolutely worth it. Our guide, Adnan, took us through all the main historical sites of the siege of Sarajevo. We had a very open and honest conversation with him about the war and his personal experiences during those years. In total, we spent more than four hours exploring the city, the Tunnel of Hope, and the surrounding mountains, and we learned a great deal, even though we already had a decent knowledge of the history. It’s not easy to speak about such difficult memories, and it takes courage to relive them each time. We are truly grateful to Adnan for sharing his story with us.

Great tour with knowledgeable guide - My three teenage children and I all really enjoyed the tour. I wanted a tour that would teach us about the history of the war but also see a few places outside of the city centre (for example the old bobsleigh track up the mountain) and this was perfect. Halid was very knowledgeable and we learned so much as we were driving around. Communication from the agency was great too in regards to starting time/meeting point etc and any changes. Thank you.

Powerful, moving, and essential to understand Sarajevo - I took this tour on August 6, 2025, with my 15- and 7-year-old children, and it was an experience we’ll never forget. The visit to the Tunnel of Hope was especially emotional, made even more impactful by the story of our guide Mirza, who personally lived through the tragic events of the 1990s. Other stops — the bobsled track, the destroyed hotel, the Jewish cemetery, and the Yellow Fortress — helped us gain a much deeper understanding of Sarajevo’s recent history and resilience. Mirza is an incredible guide: extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and speaks several languages fluently (English, Italian, German, Spanish, and even some Japanese!). Above all, he’s a genuinely kind and passionate person. Highly recommended for anyone who truly wants to understand the soul of this city — beyond the surface.

Amazing experience - The tour was amazing! Adnan was a precious mine of historical and cultural information. He took us on a journey through time and the history of Sarajevo and Bosnia. It was very emotional to hear the sad story of the war from someone who, unfortunately, experienced it. We really enjoy the experience, thanks 🍀

Very intense experience worth living - Perfectly organized tour, with friendly, competent and very sociable staff. We were a small group and moved with a very comfortable van. Our guide, Mustafa, deserves a mention because he shared with us his own life stories, personal experiences and feelings experienced during the siege of the city, trying to answer all our questions with such availability despite the harshness of the subject. A very strong and significant experience. Thank you very much and bravo! I recommend it!

Amazing, a must-do! - I did the tunnel tour with Adnan, and it was simply amazing! Incredibly interesting, and at the same time very touching and emotional, as Adnan shared his personal experiences as a war veteran with us. We could ask all questions we wanted, no topic was a taboo. Definitely a must-do in Sarajevo! Many thanks for the great time!

About War.. - The Times of Misfortune tour was super interesting! Our guide ( artist ) has told a lot and taken us into the history of Bosnia. Big plus was that our dog was allowed to come and that we were dropped off at our Camp! How nice 🙏🏼
