First mentioned in 1444, some documents suggest it was built in the late 14th century by order of Bosnian King Tvrtko. In addition to its beautiful oriental architecture and Ottoman ambiance, Pocitelj is home to the longest-running art colony in southeast Europe.
• Kravice Falls - The Kravice waterfalls, originally known as the Kravica waterfalls, are among the most beautiful natural attractions in the Herzegovinian region of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Situated on the Trebižat river, the falls cascade over a large tuff limestone deposit into the lake below. The area is protected by the state government but is open to locals and tourists for visits, picnics, camping, and even swimming.

The entire area is lush with greenery, including chaste trees, poplars, and figs. The tuff formations are covered with thick lichen, moss, and grass. There are minimal manmade structures near the falls, preserving the location’s natural environment.
