- Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar - Stari Most, or the Old Bridge, is a reconstructed 16th-century Ottoman bridge in Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It spans the Neretva River, connecting the city’s two parts. The original bridge stood for 427 years until it was destroyed on November 9, 1993, during the Croat–Bosniak War. A reconstruction project was initiated, and the rebuilt bridge opened on July 23, 2004.
