Hiking Tour (Umoljani – Obalj - Lukomir)
Selo Lukomir - After breakfast, guests will depart via organized transport to the Olympic mountain Bjelašnica, with a short break, and travel to the village of Umoljani (1275 m). Equipment rental is available before starting the hiking tour across Mount Obalj to Lukomir, the highest village in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A local legend tells of a dragon turned to stone in Umoljani. It is said that a great snake-dragon emerged from the Rakitnica Canyon, 3 km from the village, and moved through the Studeni creek intending to destroy the village and its inhabitants. The villagers fled to Pošijak Hill, praying for divine intervention to turn the dragon to stone. Their prayers were answered, and the dragon’s contours can still be seen in the stone today. The village’s name, Umoljani, is derived from these prayers (molitve). Above the stone dragon is a katun settlement on Gradina, where shepherds rest in summer while their cattle graze. This marks the end of the Umoljani segment of the tour, and the ascent to Mount Obalj (1896 m) begins. Throughout the tour, guests will enjoy stunning views of the Bjelašnica and Visočica mountains. The descent leads to Lukomir (1495 m), recognized as a cultural landscape and national heritage site of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Lukomir offers stone houses with cherry wood shingle roofs, fresh air, the scent of nature, homemade food, dairy products, organic produce, and warm hospitality. The village’s motto is: “Enjoy, forget the fast-paced rhythm of today’s life, run into nature, touch the sky, and feel free.”
The hiking tour is of medium intensity and lasts approximately 6 hours, depending on pace. Dinner and an overnight stay are arranged at our agency’s mountain house in Lukomir. Participants should bring their own clothing and shoes, as well as additional clothing for changes.
Hiking Tour (Visočica Mountain)
Boračko Lake Country House - After breakfast, guests will depart via organized transport along the path over Dugo Polje towards Visočica, where the mountain tour begins. Visočica Mountain serves as a natural border within Bosnia and Herzegovina. Its eastern side is separated from Treskavica Mountain by the Ljuta River, while its southern and southwestern sides are divided from Prenj Mountain by the Neretva River. The Rakitnica Canyon separates Visočica from the Bjelašnica Mountains to the west and north. Visočica is named for its numerous peaks, including Džamija (1967 m), Veliki Ljeljen (1963 m), and Vito (1960 m), which are its highest. The northern side of Visočica features mountain grasslands ranging from 1,300m to 1,400m, while its southern lower part is forested.
Equipment rental is available before starting the tour on the mountain trail from the Bosnian tomb-stone necropolis to the highest peak, Džamija (1967 m). During the tour, guests will see many sheep herds. Unlike other mountains, traditional cattle breeding on Visočica has been preserved. In local settlements, guests can taste delicious dairy products and experience the highlander lifestyle. A lunch break is organized at the peak, offering views of Bjelašnica, Prenj, Treskavica, Lukomir village, and Rakitnica Canyon. The tour concludes with organized transport to Boračko Lake.
The hiking tour is of medium intensity and lasts approximately 7 hours, depending on pace. Dinner and an overnight stay are arranged at Boračko Lake. Participants should bring their own clothing and shoes, as well as additional clothing for changes.
Herzegovina Tour (Mostar – Međugorje – Kravice Waterfalls – Počitelj - Blagaj)
Kravice Falls - After breakfast, guests will take organized transport to Mostar to visit its cultural and historical monuments, including the Old Bridge (UNESCO), Old Town (Kujundžiluk), Kriva Ćuprija, Karađoz-bey’s Mosque, and the towers Tara and Halebija.
The tour continues to Međugorje, located in the southern hills of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Međugorje is renowned for the apparition of the Virgin Mary and is now a Catholic pilgrimage site. The journey then proceeds to Kravice Waterfalls, a natural wonder reminiscent of Niagara Falls, where water cascades 150 meters from a height of 30 meters, creating a loud sound and mist. Guests will have lunch, free time, and opportunities for photography at the waterfalls.
On the return journey, the tour visits the medieval Ottoman city of Počitelj, situated on the left bank of the Neretva River. Here, Bosnian King Tvrtko built a fortress in 1383, later conquered by the Ottomans from 1471 to 1878, as evidenced by numerous Ottoman-era monuments. The tour arrives at Blagaj, a medieval town on the Buna River, once part of Zachlumia country. After the mid-15th century, it became part of today’s Herzegovina region. Above the Buna spring, the strategically-placed fortress of Herceg Stjepan Kosača offers a panoramic view of the Neretva Valley. Dinner is served at a restaurant by the Buna River. The tour concludes with a return to Konjic and an overnight stay at Apart&Hostel Stećak.
Hiking Tour to Herzegovinian Himalayas (Mountain Prenj)
Prenj - After breakfast, participants travel via organized transport to the starting point of Tisovica (Prenj), where licensed guides provide theoretical and practical preparations. The hiking tour toward the highest peaks of Mount Prenj begins from Tisovica (1300 m), one of the most beautiful valleys in Bosnia and Herzegovina, stretching 5 km in the heart of the Herzegovinian Himalayas. From Tisovica, the path leads through a coniferous forest to the mountain house Vrutak (1650 m), at the peak of the Tisovic Valley. From Vrutak, a marked path ascends towards the Prenj peaks of Otiš (2093 m) and Zelena Glava (2155 m), continuing to the saddle connecting these peaks. From the saddle, the climb to Zelena Glava follows the northern rock, secured with a cord. During the tour, guests may see wild horses. The Herzegovinian Himalayas (Prenj) is considered the most attractive mountain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering excitement for hikers who appreciate the allure of untouched nature.
The hiking tour is of medium intensity and lasts approximately 6 hours, depending on pace. Dinner and an overnight stay are arranged at Hostel Stećak Konjic. Participants should bring their own clothing and shoes, as well as additional clothing for changes.

Skakavac, standing 98 meters tall, is located 12 km north of Sarajevo’s city center. It is renowned for its exceptional beauty, especially in winter when it freezes into a stunning ice formation. The surrounding vegetation is rich with endemic plants. Due to the lush vegetation and shade of the coniferous forest, this tour is recommended during summer as a refreshing alternative to the city’s heat. Throughout the tour, the guide will share insights into the diverse plant and animal life in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
