- Grandma’s Home Cooking School - Dive into an all-day Thai culinary adventure that surpasses the usual. The experience kicks off with a hotel pickup followed by a guided market tour, where instructors will introduce participants to local herbs, spices, and seasonal produce.
Next, head to our expansive organic farm nestled among rice fields. Interact with the chickens, gather their eggs, stroll through the gardens, and discover the mushroom hut. These engaging activities connect you to the essence of Thai cuisine.
In our open-air kitchen, each participant enjoys a personal station within a small group. Under the guidance of our instructors, you’ll craft 7 authentic Thai dishes and 1 refreshing beverage. Master the art of stir-fries, soups, and curries, concluding with the iconic Mango Sticky Rice. A standout feature of the full-day course is learning to create fresh coconut milk the traditional way using an ancient coconut grater — a unique skill offered by few other schools in Chiang Mai.
After a day of culinary creation, savor the meal you’ve prepared, surrounded by rice fields and the fresh country breeze. At the conclusion of the class, return to your hotel with e-recipes, newfound cooking expertise, and cherished memories of Thai hospitality.
