Portomarin - The day begins along the banks of the Miño River, leading us into a forest shaded by oak trees and through charming villages and hamlets. Our destination is the village of Portomarín, where we will spend the night.
Palas de Rei
Palas de Rei - Continuing our route, we cross the Belesar Reservoir and reach the Serra de Ligonde. Along the way, we will visit the villages of Gonzar and Castromaior before arriving in Palas de Rei. Here, we will stay overnight, but not before visiting the enchanting Pambre Castle.
Arzúa
Arzúa - The river Iso takes center stage today as we follow it to the village of Arzúa. In this charming place, we will not only enjoy the local ambiance but also savor its renowned gastronomic delight: the cheese of the Arzúa-Ulloa denomination, a must-try.
Pedrouzo
O Pedrouzo - Today’s journey offers a path through enchanting eucalyptus forests and streams, creating an idyllic landscape. This pleasant and straightforward stretch leads us to the village of Pedrouzo.
Santiago de Compostela
Santiago de Compostela - This is undoubtedly the most special and thrilling stretch of the journey. Upon reaching Monte del Gozo, we will catch our first glimpse of our ultimate destination, Santiago de Compostela.
Upon arrival, we will explore this magical city and its surroundings.
