Easier than using a kayak. - The Sea Glass Island exceeded our expectations. The amount of glass there was almost overwhelming. We most likely would do this again. Doing this activity by boat is definitely more preferable over doing the round trip by kayak for retired people like us.

The terrain was more... - The terrain was more challenging than I anticipated. I found a sturdy branch to use as a walking stick. Our vendor provided bags and trowels to use . You have to dig to find blue pieces Overall it was totally worth the trip. A great experience!

Awesome adventure! - Bring plastic bags/ water shoes/ knee pads- like yoga knee pads- / tiny strainer and if u want to - your own sm trowel or backscratcher- JD was wonderful! Made sure everyone was prepared- explained the history/ process/ what and where to look for glass- would find really nice pieces of glass for each of us/ gave his complete attention to us as a group and one on one as well. Very informative!! Definitely worthwhile and highly recommended!

Fun sea glass tour. - This excursion was so fun! We had a group of 4 gals, rode the dingy boat out to the island and found many fun sea glass pieces! Searching for them was fun and I’m anxious to create something out of them. The staff was fun, pleasant and helpful. We plan to do it again!

Real Review - Bring water shoes and your good knees and sun protection. Boat ride was fun and they give you digging tools and a Ziploc bag if you need.

No sandy beach. Lots of... - No sandy beach. Lots of brown and green sea glass. Good place for novice collectors. We did find some yellow. Be sure to include transportation if you don’t have a car as its difficult to get a taxi back to hotels Nice guides

Not a worthwhile experience - Mixed emotions about it. It as more of a boat ride and spending time looking for pieces of broken glass that were spread there as part of environmental clean up. Good cause but nothing to do with the ocean

It's a rip off - Not well coordinated with transport drivers. Then when when we got to the location, we were given dirty life vests before hopping on an inflatable boat to sea glass island. Most of us are over 65 so it was difficult to board this boat as it was wobbling in the water. Tools used to dig were old and rusty. Ea glass was mostly green, ember and white while the blue were tiny fragments. This trip was less than an hour. Very disappointing experience and definitely not worth the $127/person. Don't waste your money
