• Chatham County Jail - The Old City Jail once housed 600 inmates, including areas for the criminally insane and violent, along with an execution cell. It’s no surprise the art college abandoned the structure, leaving us curious about how the private Christian school now located there is faring!
• Greene Square - Once home to an old female orphanage where two bank robbers met their fate, losing their freedom to a ghost! A cottage overlooks a poignant scene where a teenage girl contemplates suicide but is comforted by a concerned and familiar ghost.
• Conrad Aiken Home - A childhood murder-suicide gave rise to one of the world’s most intriguing poets. Discussions include Colonial Park Cemetery, Police Precinct One, and other related supernatural events that make these two adjacent properties utterly captivating.
• Calhoun Square - Now known as Taylor Square, named after a renowned nurse, it sits above one of the original black burial grounds, built over as the city expanded. It is home to the famously haunted Espy House and 432 Abercorn.
• Colonial Park Cemetery - This famous 1750s cemetery is home to colonial hangings, mass graves, and chilling tales of yellow fever, along with significant historical and modern use by root doctors. You’ll hear about the Man in Blue apparition and more.
• Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace Museum - It’s hard to convey that one of Savannah’s most haunted buildings, both from a family and organizational perspective, is the Gordon Home. It is indeed one of the most documented haunted homes, with accounts dating back over 100 years.
• Hamilton-Turner House - Savannah’s first electrified home and one of the city’s most beautiful inns has a dark history with numerous poltergeist accounts, an unsolved murder, and significant ties to “Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.”
• Kehoe House, Historic Inns of Savannah - This former funeral home turned high-class inn has made more than one honeymooner’s stay quite frightful, and for some, it has come with a touch of omen.
• Davenport House Museum - From yellow fever victims to a legendary shape-shifting cat, this home is steeped in rootwork and other spiritual blemishes.
• The Old Sorrel Weed House Museum & Tours - This 1830s home was famously filmed by our company founder for the first episode of Ghosthunters ever filmed outside of their home state and stands as one of Savannah’s most investigated properties.
• Wright Square - Wright Square gave us the expression of Savannah, the city built on top of its dead, as a cemetery with an estimated 300 burials remaining beneath it. Historically, it was the town’s edge as the fourth square of the eventual 24, and in colonial times, it was where the city jail and hanging gallows stood, overlooking the early graveyard. This is where Irish sorceress Alice Riley was famously kept and executed, with many early recorded accounts of her spirit inside homes and businesses on the square.
• 1790 Inn - This renowned bar and inn was named in 1790 before burning in the great fire of 1820. Not long after, Anna White ended her life here in a tragic, controlling marriage. Early developers in 1976 dealt with the continual spirit phenomenon, with famed demonologist couple, The Warrens of The Amityville, investigating. While many hotels latch onto pseudo claims of ghosts, there’s no shortage of guests here leaving in the night and sharing their stories in the “guest registrar.”
