A Beautiful Piece of Savannah - Really enjoyed our tour of this gorgeous cemetery and extraordinary piece of history. Ken was a true historian who shared interesting stories and fascinating histories about some of the people and families who rest there. My only wish is that I would have watched or read Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil, however we are watching the movie now to give a bit more background to the true events Ken provided insight into. We had Ken to ourselves that day and we so appreciated his time and sharing his knowledge.

Bonaventure Cemetery tour and terrific tour guide - Our guide was prompt(early!) and extremely knowledgeable. She led us through the gorgeous cemetery imparting a great deal of information and interesting history. At the end of our tour she gave us fun little stickers too!

An excellent experience! - A very informative and pleasant tour; we enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it to others. The guide was very nice and knowledgeable and we learned a lot about the fates of the people resting there, symbolism in grave decorations and local folk lore. A very good combination and we are very much satisfied with the whole experience.

A must when in Savannah! - Paschal was a wonderful guide. He was so knowledgeable in the history of Bonaventure and Savannah. We would love to go back and do more of the cemetery with him. He even brought bug spray which we had forgotten. He also recommended a restaurant close by which was the best!

Beautiful Bonaventure, super tour guide - We enjoyed an extremely interesting and informative tour with our highly professional guide, Pascal. His non-scripted presentation style coupled with a very welcoming attitude to questions from the group made for an engaging, memorable experience. This is the Bonaventure tour to take!

A Fascinating and Thoughtful Tour – Bonaventure Cemetery with Pascal - Our tour of Bonaventure Cemetery with Pascal was absolutely amazing and one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Savannah. This wasn’t just a walk through a historic cemetery—it was a journey through time, culture, symbolism, and storytelling.
Pascal is a truly gifted guide. He expertly weaves together historical facts, military history, local culture, and fascinating trivia with a warmth and depth that made the entire tour both educational and deeply meaningful. His knowledge of symbolism—especially as it relates to burial customs and gravestone iconography—added an entirely new layer of understanding that we never expected.
We came away with so much more than just facts. We gained insight into Savannah’s past, its people, and the customs that shaped this hauntingly beautiful place. Pascal’s passion for the subject matter and his ability to connect it to the broader story of Savannah made this tour unforgettable.
Highly recommend the Bonaventure Cemetery “Is Forever” tour if you’re looking for a meaningful, enriching experience beyond the usual tourist stops. It’s a masterclass in history, culture, and reverence—all wrapped in a beautiful Southern setting.

You will never look at a cemetery the same way after the tour. - My husband and I booked the Bonaventure Cemetery Is Forever Tour, and even before we left home Janine reached out with information regarding where to meet and how to get there. When we arrived we quickly learned that we were all from the same county! After some bonding she started her tour. We were blown away with the amount of knowledge she possessed and we learned many interesting details regarding the families and the monuments within the cemetery. We could have stayed all day learning from her. I highly recommend this tour to anyone. We will definitely book another tour through Shannon Scott Tours on our next visit.

Afternoon at the Bonaventure Cemetary - Janine was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Her outfit was spot on for a cemetery tour. Her pace was good and she was easy to hear. Just a wonderful tour and will certainly recommend Janine and the tour to friends going to Savannah. Thank you for the great tour.

Excellent tour! - Our tour was in the afternoon and the directions for the meeting area were easy to follow. The tour was excellent. We did the 2 hour tour and it flew by. The guide was entertaining and informative and stayed at a pace we could follow so we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this tour. We loved it!
