10/10 tour for Savannah lovers and newcomers alike - Absolutely amazing experience! Our guide Deborah had such a wealth of knowledge and was so personable. The city is a gem and so is Deb!! I will continue to rave about this tour and hope to be on another one of her tours in the future.

Will be back! - Our tour with Deb exceeded expectations in every way. The ticket price was more than justified by the quality of the experience. While the tour ran slightly longer than advertised, it was clear that this was due to her depth of knowledge and eagerness to make the most of the time we had — which we appreciated. Deb is clearly skilled at working with any group size. We happened to be in a smaller group, and that ended up being ideal, as it allowed for a more engaging and conversational atmosphere. Throughout the tour, Deborah created a welcoming environment and went beyond basic facts, offering insight she’s gathered over time and pointing out common misconceptions along the way. It felt informative, thoughtful, and personal. I’m already looking forward to returning — not just to visit again, but specifically to experience another tour with Deborah.

Can’t compete with other tours. You’ve found gold. - Deb was phenomenal and gave us an outstanding experience to say the least. Admission cost well worth every penny! The duration of the tour was a little bit longer than what was quoted, but only because of the amount of knowledge she had to share in the small timeframe we had to spend with her. (Not complaining) Best for small or large crowds, Deb can handle both, Our crowd side size was small, but I think for this occasion, smaller was better and more made more of a personable experience. Deborah made us feel comfortable throughout the whole tour, not only giving us factual information, but also enlightening us from what she had learned from other tours and how some things can’t be misleading. I can’t wait to come back next time not only to catch up, but to have another tour with Deborah!

Savannah history given by someone who loves and appreciates this city - First of all, we learned that different tour guides or tour companies have different emphases. Deborah, our tour guide, is also the owner of the business. She’s a relatively recent resident of Savannah and a scholarly person who has done a lot of research on the history of the city and who loves the city. So history was her focus. The tour started with a discussion of how Savannah came to be founded and continued to why and how it was developed. This included important personages in its history from before the revolutionary war to after the Civil War, through different periods and battles. She also pointed out famous and important or otherwise special buildings and architectural details as we passed them. She allowed for personal interests and freedom to explore. We learned a lot and highly recommend her tour.

"The past is never dead. It isn't even past." - William Faulkner's famous quote perfectly encapsulates Andrew Cotton's walking tour of Savannah, where you learn about the city's founders, major battles and who fought them, the town's pivotal role in history, why Savannah looks the way it does, what all that crap is hanging from the trees, and how all of this shaped the present and the future. All packed into an economical 90 minutes. Andrew was as engaging as he was knowledgeable, and more than happy to allow any pit stops as needed. We enthusiastically recommend him. Thanks, Andrew!
