• Savar - After picking up the group from the hotel, the journey will proceed to Savar Upazila in the Dhaka district. The drive from Dhaka city takes approximately one and a half hours. Along the way, enjoy the view of the Buriganga River.
• Nayarhat - Arrive at Nayarhat Bazar in Dhamrai by 10:30 a.m. Following this, enjoy a 30-minute boat ride, offering a glimpse into the lives of Bangladeshi villagers residing by the river. Next, visit the pottery village of Pal Para, where generations of potters, known as Kumar, have crafted pottery. This traditional craft is declining, leading to challenging living conditions for the potters, with many leaving the trade. Bringing chocolates to share with the village children would bring them great joy.
• Sukanta’s Dhamrai Metal Crafts - Travel to Dhamrai to explore the metal crafts workshop, where exquisite statues and crockery are crafted using the lost-wax technique with bronze. This is an ideal spot to purchase brass souvenirs, as they create wonderful items perfect for keepsakes.
• Nabinagar Upazila - After visiting the Dhamrai metal craft shop, head towards Nabinagar. Enjoy a meal at a local restaurant in Nabinagar, savoring the local cuisine.
• National Martyr’s Monument - On the return journey to Dhaka, visit the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar. This national monument commemorates those who sacrificed their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, which led to Bangladesh’s independence from Pakistan. Located in Savar, the visit concludes with a return to Dhaka and drop-off at the hotel or residence, marking the end of the tour.

In this full day tour, we’ll take you to a remote village in Dhamrai in the outskirt of Dhaka to visit a metal crafts workshop where they make brass and bronze statues in ancient lost-wax technique, and a pottery village where all of them make pottery from many of their generations.

On the way back to Dhaka you’ll visit National Martyrs Monument In Savar which was built to pay tribute to the people who was Killed during the liberation war of Bangladesh in 1971. This is a Tour where you can learn about the traditional life of Bangladeshi people and history of this country.
