• Monkey Mountain - The adventure kicks off at the Sayulita Bus Station, where a local bus will take participants to the town of Higuera Blanca (a 25-minute ride). After a brief introduction, the hike to Cerro del Mono begins. The round trip covers a distance of 8 km/5 miles. The journey starts on a path leading into the jungle, followed by a climb up a long hill and some rock climbing to reach the hilltop. The difficulty level is medium to moderate.

Throughout the tour, participants will learn about the local flora, fauna, and geography, as well as the culture, traditions, and history of Higuera Blanca and Sayulita. At the hilltop, there will be time to rest, take in the stunning views, and enjoy a small snack.

The descent follows the same path, with a stop at a station to meet “Don Pedro,” who will offer a fresh coconut. The tour then proceeds to “La Cocina de Mamá Toña,” a charming local restaurant serving delicious Mexican cuisine.

Finally, private transport will return participants to Sayulita. The entire experience lasts 4 hours and 30 minutes.

The journey includes an 8 km (5 mi) hike through lively trails, culminating in breathtaking 360° views of the Pacific Ocean and Sierra Madre.

Following the hike, a taxi will transport you to one of Sayulita’s finest traditional restaurants for a refreshing coconut and an authentic local meal.
