Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi - Leisure Day
Hanoi - Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, a driver will greet you and transport you to your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. (For departures from Ho Chi Minh, the itinerary will be reversed.) This marks the first day in Vietnam, offering free time to relax and explore Hanoi City independently….
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi - Leisure Day
Hanoi - Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, a driver will greet you and transport you to your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter. (For departures from Ho Chi Minh, the itinerary will be reversed.) This marks the first day in Vietnam, offering free time to relax and explore Hanoi City independently.
Day 2: Hanoi to Ninh Binh (Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Mua Cave) (B,L)
Hoa Lu Temples of the Dinh & Le Dynasties - 7:45 – 8:30: A tour guide will collect you from your hotel. The journey to Ninh Binh province, approximately 120 km from Hanoi, begins.
9:30: A 20-minute break to unwind.
10:30: The first stop is the ancient capital of Hoa Lu, Vietnam’s first capital. Discover why the capital was relocated to Hanoi. Be captivated by the remarkable architecture of the temples of King Dinh and King Le, the first and second emperors of ancient Vietnam, constructed in the 17th century. Experience the ancient atmosphere of Hoa Lu.
11:45: Enjoy a buffet lunch featuring local dishes such as goat meat and fried rice. Vegetarian options are available.
Tam Coc - 13:00: Embark on a 1.5-hour bamboo boat ride through Tam Coc. The stunning beauty of the paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and impressive cave system will amaze you, creating a masterpiece known as “Halong Bay on land.”
14:30: Continue with a 45-minute cycling tour around the village to observe local life.
Mua Caves - 15:30: Board the bus to Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Climb nearly 500 steps to reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain for a breathtaking panoramic view of Tam Coc.
Day 3: Hanoi to Ha Long Bay (Sung Sot Cave - Titop Island) (B,L,D)
Tuan Chau Island - 7:45 – 8:30: A shuttle bus and cruise tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.
8:45: Depart for Halong Bay, a 3.5-hour journey.
10:15: Arrive in Hai Duong province for a 20-minute break.
12:00: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor.
12:30: Board the cruise, enjoy a welcome drink, and receive a brief introduction to the cruise and safety guidelines. Check into your air-conditioned cabin.
13:00: Savor a special lunch with traditional Vietnamese dishes while cruising through the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations.
Sung Sot Cave - 15:00: Visit Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave).
Ti Top Island - 16:00: The cruise will take you to Titop Island, known for its viewpoint offering splendid views of Halong Bay, or enjoy swimming on the romantic sandy beach.
Halong Bay - 17:15: Return to the cruise, take a shower, relax on the sundeck, and watch the sunset in comfortable lounge chairs while sipping a cocktail or reading a book during this magical moment.
EVENING RELAXATION:
19:00: Enjoy dinner with a sea view window in the romantic night Bay.
20:30: Engage in activities like squid fishing, karaoke, or relaxing on the sundeck.
Overnight on the boat: Clean air-conditioned room.
Day 4: Ha Long Bay (Kayaking) - Hanoi - Fly to Danang (B,L)
Halong Bay - 6:30 – 6:45: Breakfast on board as the boat cruises to the Natural Preservation Zone. Kayak to explore the area or visit a floating house to learn about the daily life of local fishermen. Reboard the cruise, refresh, and relax before checking out. Bags can be stored in the luggage area. Continue exploring the Bay, passing Ba Hang fishing village, Dog Islet, and more. Lunch is served.
11:00 – 11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau Marina.
12:30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.
14:30: Stop in Hai Duong province for a short break.
16:30: Arrive in Hanoi Old Quarter.
Noi Bai Airport Transfers - Upon returning to Hanoi Old Quarter, a driver will take you to Noi Bai International Airport for your departure to Danang (evening flight). The price does not include the domestic flight ticket from Hanoi to Danang (to be paid separately).
Day 5: Danang - Marble Mountain - Hoi An (B,D)
My Khe Beach - Enjoy a free morning to appreciate the beauty of My Khe Beach.
The Marble Mountains - 15:00-16:00: Depart for Marble Mountain. Stop at the Stone Carving Village, a traditional village of Danang people, for free visits and souvenir shopping. Next, explore Marble Mountain with its beautiful caves, Tam Thai, Linh Ung pagoda, Tang Chon, and Huyen Khong Cave.
Hoi An - 17:30: Travel to Hoi An ancient town. Enjoy free walking and shopping at Nguyen Hoang market. Admire the town’s colorful lanterns and enjoy traditional folk music in Quang Nam province. Discover the unique architecture of the famous port from the 15th and 16th centuries, showcasing a blend of Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese cultures.
Day 6: Danang - Ba Na Hills - Golden Bridge - Cable Car (B,L)
Ba Na Hills - 07:00 - 08:00: Pick up guests at the hotel and depart for Ba Na Hills.
09:00: Arrive at the cable car station. Experience the pristine ecological system of Ba Na Mountain from the cabin, offering a sense of discovery.
09:30: Visit Le Jardin, old wineries, remains of French Villas, and Linh Ung pagoda with a 27m high Buddha statue. Proceed to Gare Debay, the second cable car station, to reach the top of Ba Na.
10:30: Visit and enjoy games at Fantasy Park, the third-largest indoor amusement park in the world (some free games depending on Ba Na policy).
11:30: Lunch at a restaurant.
12:30: Conquer the Peak of Chua Mountain at 1,487m, enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang from the top of Ba Na Hills, and visit the Golden Bridge.
17:30: Return to the cable car station and transfer to Da Nang. Drop off at your hotel for relaxation.
Day 7: Danang - Fly to Ho Chi Minh (B)
Da Nang - Enjoy free time to explore the city independently. Later, a driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to Danang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Ho Chi Minh City - Upon arrival in HCM, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Overnight stay in a hotel in HCM.
Day 8: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - Cu Chi Tunnel Full Day (B, L)
Cu Chi Tunnels - The Cu Chi tunnels are a historical site in Vietnam, recognized for their role in the resistance against US forces during the Vietnam War. Located about 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, the tour departs at 8:00 am. It’s hard to imagine that this area was once devastated by bombs and mines during the war when Cu Chi was a “free target zone.”
Upon arrival, explore some of the tunnels, discover hidden corners, and imagine life for the resistance soldiers. Try cooking with smokeless stoves used by Vietnamese soldiers during the war and sample the foods they lived on. For the adventurous, try shooting an AK-47, a gun used during the war. Enjoy a traditional Vietnamese lunch of local specialties after visiting the tunnels.
Ho Chi Minh City - The tour begins with a visit to the Reunification Palace, the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975. Afterward, walk to see French colonial structures, including Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Central Post Office. After a day visiting Cu Chi Tunnel and Ho Chi Minh City, it’s believed that you will never forget this peaceful and charming city. The tour concludes around 5 pm.
Day 9: Ho Chi Minh - Mekong Delta Tour Full Day (B, L)
Mekong Delta - Depart Saigon by road for the Mekong Delta and its gateway city of My Tho, located 72 km southwest of the city. Board a riverboat for an excursion across the Mekong through islands with lush flora and small rural communities. Cruise to Thoi Son Island to visit a local house and taste fruits grown in the orchards. Stroll through orchards, sampling tropical fruits. Lunch is at a local restaurant, featuring a local specialty: “elephant ear” fish.
In the afternoon, cycle around Tan Thach village, meet local villagers, and experience daily life in the Mekong Delta. Relax in a hammock and enjoy the cool breeze for those not joining the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Leisure Day - Departure from Ho Chi Minh (B)
Ho Chi Minh City - Enjoy free time to explore the city independently. Later, a driver will take you to the airport. It’s time to bid farewell to Vietnam.
