There was a some climbing... - Fantastic experience and we are so glad we signed up. They do small groups so very attentive. There was a some climbing involved, recommend pants and light long sleeved shirt like a sun shirt for protection. I recommend being very honest with your level of nerves, especially once you are up there and they will absolutely work with you to make sure you are comfortable and confident.

Incredible adventure! - Jose is an amazing guide! There was some practice time and then four progressively more interesting rappels. There is a moderate level of fitness required to climb up the rocks each time, and you will need good shoes, but Jose takes care of all the equipment, water, and snacks. It was my first time, and there were definitely some jitters, but I had an incredible experience!

Great way to spend the afternoon! - We had a wonderful afternoon with Jose - he came fully prepared for the trip and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. We had a short walk up to a great spot that could accommodate the 5 of us. Our 2 boys (aged 11 and 13) enjoyed the scramble up to the top as much as the rappelling down. Really thorough in the instructions and guidance through the different descents we took. We stayed in the same place which was great as we just moved along the different angles of the mountain - each with their own challenge. The views were fantastic! It was a really fun (and tiring) afternoon! If we come back to Phoenix we will be reaching out to Jose again to take us on our next adventure!

Wonderful time with beautiful scenery - Our guide Jose was wonderful. He was very helpful and patient with our family. The repelling was a blast. He tailors the levels to what your family can do. He made the instructions easy for everyone to understand. Our 12 and 14 year old loved it!

GREAT experience. Highly recommend, Jose was awesome! - We LOVED rappelling, Jose was the best guide!! It was our first experience rappelling, and Jose made us feel comfortable and confident! We are ladies in our late thirties, with moderate fitness levels. We went early November, the temps were in the 70s in the morning. Highly recommend pants so your legs don’t get scraped up by the brush on the hike back up. We rappelled numerous times, each time you hike back up to the top. Jose supplied all the water so we didn’t have to carry anything. I do recommend a belt bag to carry phone in to take pictures. We are SO happy we booked this excursion with Jose!

Great experience!! - José with Epic Adventures was amazing. We were first time rappellers but he was great at making us feel comfortable and safe. He was a ton of fun and felt more like a friend than a guide. We were able to rappel multiple times and had a blast each time. Highly recommend this experience. His company Epic Adventures is the one I’d use for any experience in the area!

Great experience! - Jose was a great guide! He is very patient, made us feel very comfortable and super safe. I would definitely recommend and would do it again. Super fun experience. There is a little climb you'll make for this but definitely doable and Jose will go at your pace. Loved it!
