  Stretching around 50 kilometers, the main ridge of the Vlădeasa massif boasts the remarkable Vf. Vlădeasa, reaching a height of 1836 meters. This peak is the third-highest in the Apuseni Mountains.

Before the hike begins, enjoy a short stop at the Sequoia tree. Here, surrounded by traditional wooden houses, the rich traditions of Romanian culture are evident.
  The trek starts from Rogojel village, with a 2-hour hike leading to the Vladeasa Chalet, where a delightful Romanian picnic is prepared.
  After the break, the exploration continues with a 2-hour climb to Vladeasa Peak.

The Vlădeasa Mountains make up the northernmost portion of the three core high massifs in the Western Transylvanian (Apuseni) Mountains, a part of the Southwestern Carpathians. The Vlădeasa massif’s central ridge extends to roughly 50km in length. The ridge’s eastern side is home to the highest peak known as Vf.Vlădeasa, which reaches a maximum height of 1836m. This peak is the third tallest in the Apuseni Mountains.
