• Seattle - Hotel pickups occur in downtown Seattle between 7:30-8:00 am.
• Skagit Wildlife Area - Travel north of Seattle to the Skagit Valley, which hosts over 300 bird species throughout the year. Experience one of the state’s most remarkable natural events as wintering migratory birds return to the fertile farmlands, gathering in groups of tens of thousands.

Bring binoculars and spend the morning spotting waterfowl, shorebirds, eagles, raptors, and more, all drawn to the Pacific Northwest’s mild winters.

• Whidbey Island - Known for its diverse ecosystems, history, and wildlife, Whidbey Island is a treasure just north of Seattle. Shaped by its military past, the island features both current and historic bases, along with rugged coastlines and stunning beaches.
• Deception Pass State Park - Discover a hidden wilderness and fascinating history at Deception Pass State Park, filled with tales of smuggling and shipwrecks. Enjoy beachcombing along the rocky shore and exploring forested trails with views of the Salish Sea, while watching for marine wildlife like birds, seals, or otters.

After lunch, if you’re feeling adventurous, take on the challenge of walking across the 180-foot-high bridge spanning Deception Pass for an exhilarating experience and breathtaking views.

• Fort Casey State Park - Spend the afternoon delving into Whidbey Island’s rich history, starting with a visit to a historic 120+ year-old military fort, complete with bunkers and batteries, and the charming 127’ Admiralty Head Lighthouse.
• Greenbank Farm - Don’t miss Whidbey Island’s agricultural area. Discover the cultural significance of Greenbank Farms, once the state’s largest loganberry producer. Enjoy a tasting of locally made loganberry wine, pick up a homemade pie from Whidbey Pies, or explore the art collection from local creators displayed on the red barn’s walls. This destination offers something for everyone.

Our Deception Pass State Park Tour from Seattle is an excellent way to spend a day outside of the city. Located on the northern end of the largest island in the Salish Sea, Deception Pass provides unparalleled opportunities to experience the true Pacific Northwest with miles of rugged coast, massive old growth trees, and adrenaline pumping bridges.

This small-group day trip limited to 10 people includes French-pressed coffee & tea, pastries, light snacks, a picnic-style lunch and downtown Seattle pick-up and drop-off. Don’t worry about a thing.
