Awesome Trip! Excellent way to spend a day in nature. - Lucinda, our tour guide, led us on a wonderful adventure to and up Mount Rainier. We traveled on a Monday when the Federal Government was shut down, and this impacted the services & staff available at the Mount Rainier National Park. Lucinda made sure that we had plenty of breaks for bathroom, coffee/snacks, and lunch. She explained all about the history and geology of the Cascade Mountain Range and of Washington’s 5 active volcanos. My family was delighted with the trip and highly recommend it.

A beautiful day trip, worth every penny - Beautiful scenery and plenty of great photo ops. Dress warm because it is a mountain. Our guide took advantage of opportunities to stop at unscheduled sites for great pictures, and the whole day was very balanced with rest room breaks and other pauses.

Worry free way to get out of the city and see amazing mountains and waterfalls! - This trip is amazing!! Such a great way to see lots of the park and you don’t have to worry about anything! The park is very busy with lots of traffic, but being on board this mini bus is a breeze not having to worry about parking or missing any stops with great views. John was our tour guide and he was so kind, funny and knowledgeable! He knows all the great stops and if he feels like it’s too cloudy for some stops, he will skip them to not waste your time. It was a beautiful day, but the clouds were out right over Mount Rainier so we didn’t get any of the amazing photos that some of these reviews show. But that’s Mother Nature for you! We still had amazing views of other mountains, valleys and waterfalls. Some hikes are harder than others, but John is great about explaining what to expect with each mini hike and you can then decide which ones you want to partake in or you can stay near the bus! It’s a long day and we were exhausted by the end, but so worth it!!!! Would definitely recommend this trip!!!!

Fabulous journey to Mt Ranier - Fantastic day on the mountain. Our guide, Erica, was excellent - well informed, attentive. She handled an unexpected problem with the van with aplomb, always putting our safety and comfort first. The problem extended our day but most of us felt this was a plus, as Erica made certain to provide us with great sight-seeing options. And, thanks to our delay, we were still in the area when the clouds up top finally cleared and we got a magnificent view of the mountain. We were even able to see the moon above a clear Mt Ranier. A trip I will never forget.

Great way to see Mt Ranier national park and not have to drive :) - Husband and I took this tour while on vacation in Seattle. We were on a comfy little bus with 16 total travelers. Our tour guide, Ken, was funny and informative. Plenty of bathroom breaks! We went on day 3 of the gov't shut down and they were good about communicating this and offering a refund if we were concerned. It honestly did not affect our visit. There were a few places that did not have flush toilets, but overall it wasn't an issue. I imagine if the shut down goes on for too long, the park is going to get trashed because it was FULL of visitors while we were there. We had plenty of time at each stop to see everything and get pictures. We stopped at a grocery store on the way to the park and picked up lunch (I think because the park visitor centers were closed). Mt Ranier played peek a boo with us and the clouds all day, but we were able to see it intermittently and Ken stopped any time it cleared so we could get pics. One thing we did not anticipate was HOW COLD it would be. It was a completely different climate than Seattle, so bring winter wear! It was 65 in Seattle and 30-40 and damp in the park.
