Sedona Stargazing in April - Beautiful night, great communication regarding cloud coverage and all clear for viewing by 5:00pm. Well setup with great equipment for everyone to view stars. Guides were extremely knowledgeable about astronomy and patient with kids and adults questions. Highly recommend

Sedona star gazing - It was very informative and exciting. The astronomer and his assistant were very knowledgable and helpful. They answered al questions and explained what exactly we were seeing. The telescopes are all programmed to go exactly to the what they were explaining.

First timer - First time stargazing and it was way better than I thought. The sky looked unreal… more stars than I’ve ever seen in my life. Super chill experience, easy to enjoy, and I left seeing the night sky completely different. Definitely worth it.

Wonderful and worth it - Truly great experience. The guys had several large telescopes set up, with stepstools and binoculars, folding chairs and blankets. They were so very knowledgeable and patient with all levels of questions. Great activity for older kids and up. Thanks for an amazing night!

It's not whether a problem may arise, it's how you respond to it that matters. - Excellent experience! Very customer focused team - grateful for the way they resolved a booking error, and worked us into the schedule so we could complete the tour. The astronomer guide was extremely knowledgable and shared lots of interesting information about what the evening sky gave us last night. We were able to see Jupiter, including the bands around the equator, plus 4 of its moons! All in all very well organized and educational. God and the Heavens provided the rest! We felt the cost was somewhat high, but there was a good ratio of guests to telescopes, so everyone had a chance to see , and the astronomer made it worthwhile.

Jupiter was the money shot!! - Loved the experience since I am not knowledgeable about night skies. Great information. Loved the telescopes. Jupiter was the most exciting to see. I wish they spoke up or had a mic so we could hear better in our group.

Photos on this page don't reflect what you'll actually see - I had unrealistic expectations going into this. I've never been stargazing before. I was expecting to see high-res images of planets in our solar system like the pictures posted on the event page. I realize now that this is actually not possible for a live tour. I could just barely see Jupiter through the telescopes, but everything else was just not interesting to look at. I don't feel like I had a much better experience looking at the stars through a telescope than with my naked eye. The guides were very nice. They were pointing out a bunch of constellations and telling us astronomy facts. As I was not familiar with the constellations beforehand, I did not really appreciate this as much and got kinda lost. Again, this is not really a fault of the tour operators or the guides. If you have not gone stargazing before, just temper your expectations about what this experience will provide.

A unique experience - It was a lot of fun, for sure. It was unique, telescopes were awesome. Moon was bright so fewer stars were visible but that didn't really matter! Can't control nature. A few things might help the experience. Our "host" was not, as advertised, a "professional astronomer." He knew a ton...but admitted he was not a professional. He was hard to hear as he talked to the group. It was freezing cold (which we expected and enjoyed) but we didn't travel with a parka because, as advertised they would provide "parkas and blankets." No parkas. Might just need a refresh on the event description.

Was hoping for more - It was a nice experience but not sure it was worth the price. Was hoping to be on top of a mountain and not a field.

Knowledge but weather not in our favor - Astronomer was a great speaker and incredibly knowledgeable. We saw Jupiter and learned so much. Unfortunately, the weather was windy and the sky was cloudy so it was difficult to see a lot of the stars. Plus it was a full moon so the light of the moon made things difficult. If I knew the weather’s circumstances I probably would have passed until a better day.
