Definitely dive Oman! - After some registration confusion, all went well. Mohammed and the South African (sorry, can’t remember his name!) dive masters were helpful, loved what they do, and professional. Very nice dive experience!

Two tank scuba dive off Daminyat Islands. - Our third sea dive since becoming open water qualified and selected Oman as the place to go nearly March. Was not disappointed. Global Scuba are well run and organised for a busy tour out to Daminyat. We arrived on time for 8am check in and got kitted up. Kit was well used but functional. Worth a careful check before departure for leaks and connectors though. Waited some time for a group of Japanese to arrive so a bit late leaving. Could have enjoyed a longer breakfast! Dive sites are ok. Visibility not great and limited by the least able in the group until they were put back on the boat. Saw turtles and many fish and eels. Second site better visibility and warmer water. Only had a 3mm wet suit so got cold at 12m. Added a bonus stop on a beach on this islands to warm up. Lunch and snacks provided but perhaps keep the sandwiches in a cool box next time? Good team with SA Steve, capt B and Capt Mohammed on board. Jolly good fun and a good dive.

poor diving conditions and faulty equipment - The welcome in a cold and smoky room has already chilled us. Then the sea conditions were difficult and visibility poor. The suits were too thin for the water temperature in January, we were cold. Unreliable equipment, unusable vest at the first dive (HS connection hose) and several air leaks at the 2nd on the reserve equipment. In the end we were frankly disappointed with the experience.
