Small group, winter fun visiting Gulfoss and snowmobiling! - We were told traveling in Iceland in February can be challenging weather wise so we decided to leave the driving on one of the days to a tour company. They picked us up in Reykjavik at 9 and dropped us off at 5pm. After a full, active day of visiting Thingvellir (scenery, lake and the rift), Geysir (fun short break for cocoa), Gulfoss waterfall (wonderful) we were driven up to the glacier. Our driver told us all about the history and geology of Iceland. And his van fit 16 or so passengers comfortably. The huge tires gave us a smooth ride on the gravel and ice leading to the snowmobile station. We suited up, got some patient pointers (for us new drivers) and we took off onto the glacier in sunshine and snow for about an hour. Such a magical and stunning landscape. It was cold and windy but the jumpsuit and helmet kept us warm. The handlebars are heated! Off season is so pleasant with half the crowds at sites and hot springs. The tour was worth every penny not to have to drive ourselves back to the city. The roads were dry that day but we were beat and glad we left the driving to someone else. Thanks for a great day out!

Do the snowmobiling! - An absolutely amazing trip with Sven as our guide who was brilliant! He told us little stories along the way and just made the day even better. The highlight was how amazing the snowmobiling was, if you are debating whether to do it, please trust me when I say you won’t regret it! A once in a lifetime experience.

Golden Circle and Snowmobiling - We did the Golden Circle tour with Snowmobiling which was an amazing day. Bart, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and was an incredibly good driver. It can be daunting going up the mountain and it can be very bouncy (take travel sickness tablets if you're anything like me), but Bart made me feel confident in his skills the entire time. All the gear was provided and even though it was windy and snowy on the mountainside, I didn't feel that cold. The snowmobile could be a little challenging to handle but we had a good amount of time on it and got some amazing photos. The whole trip was organised really well and I felt like we got a good amount of time in each location. The car was also really comfortable and it was always a small group so it felt nice and relaxed. Would recommend!

Amazing experience snowmobile and good luck circle - Burt was our driver and tour guide. He was amazing! I strongly recommend this unique experience. The group was small so we have not much delay on waiting people that were slow.

Beautiful sites and snowmobiles - The trip as a whole was fun. We went to some amazing sites with beautiful scenery. Our tour guide was excellent. He was very helpful, especially with suggestions on places to go during our stay in Iceland. I wish I could remember his name. The drive out to the snowmobile base camp in the super jeep was exciting. The blowing snow and low visibility made the drive a little more thrilling. Of course those weather conditions continued through the snowmobile ride, which made the experience slightly uncomfortable and took away any scenery. The snowy conditions did add something to the adventure and those types of weather conditions must be expected for tours like this.

Go for the "normal" golden circle tour and save yourself some money - The Super Jeep Tour was very interesting but not worth the extra price just to ride in that jeep. You can do yourselfs a favour and spent the money on something else to do. Our guide Kate (i think that was her name) was very good. She told us some interesting facts and bit of the icelandic history connected to the tour. For each stop we had around 30min to look around, which is quite short to be honest, but i can absolutley understand that. So if you plan on doing the tour with someone whos walking a bit slow or is not in a decent phisical condition, i would recommend you to vistit those places mentioned in the description with your own vehicle. Something which they dont tell you in the description is, that you will stop at the Geysir and have lumch there. We ate for 3 people andy paid around 12000ISK (~70€ ). The snowmobiling part was cancelled for our tour because of bad weather, which of course was a little disapointing...
