Don’t miss this memorable trip! - Thanks to our guide Steinunn, our bus driver Arthur, and the people at Bus Travel Iceland who responded immediately to a phone call the day of the trip, this was the best day trip bus tour we’ve ever taken. The sights were amazing (some even in light rain). Steinunn’s directions and talks on-site kept the group organized and interested. Her commentary during the bus rides kept us informed and amused so the time flew by. We highly recommend Bus Travel Iceland and the Golden Circle with Kerid Crater trip!

We repeated the Golden... - We repeated the Golden Circle excursion as things did not go quite so well last year. In spite of the wet and windy weather the trip went smoothly. It was helped by the tour company having reps at Skarfabakki cruise port as our coach arrived close to the deadline as it was picking up other passengers elasewhere.

Informative and must do - Hi. The trip was spaced out so we can see as much as possible, with fun information about Iceland and the locations we pass through in between. Yes, you can do it on your own, but if you want to learn what you see, I recommend the tour!

A good representation of a northern landscape - All staff I interacted with, both on the bus and at the visitor center, were friendly and accommodating. The stops were well proportioned.

Great tour of the Golden... - Great tour of the Golden Circle. The day started off a little confusingly because we were picked up by one bus, which transported us to a second, smaller bus for the tour. Our tour guide (Andy) was very nice and knowledgeable and got us to all of the sights, even when we got a little behind schedule early in the tour. Gullfoss was incredible and my favorite stop anywhere in Iceland. One word of caution—pick your seat carefully, as I was stuck with a seat over the wheel well and had very little space for my feet. Despite this, I highly recommend the tour as a great way to see amazing sights in Iceland.

The Golden Circle Tour - We did the golden circle tour. I booked it with this company cos they cost less than the cruise ship I was on, also they included the Kerid Crater in the tour which the cruise liner and a lot of other tour companies don’t. The tour was supposed to be 8 hours and a half but it was 7 hours. Everything was rushed with all the stops. We only had 40 minutes at the geyser and that included having lunch there! We only got 20 minutes at Thingvellir national park which was ridiculous! they didn’t even take us to see the waterfall there or give us more time at the park. Overall we did enjoy the tour and glad we did it. We liked our tour guide Denis as he was very informative and has a sense of humour but the only criticism I have is that the tour was rushed. He should have given us more time in all the stops we did and the tour was supposed to be 8 hours and a half, not 7 hours. So for this I felt I had to leave a review here about this.
