Interesting full day out - Booked through Get Your Guide with this company. Excellent day trip. Gulay, our guide, was extremely informative and spoke excellent English. The tour gave us plenty of time at each of the sites, and also included a very tasty, filling lunch. The bus was clean and spacious. We particularly enjoyed that this was a small group experience as it was also very nice to get to meet the other passengers from a wide variety of countries. Ephesus itself was incredible, such an interesting and enjoyable place to visit. I would advise visitors to wear sensible shoes as the marble sloping walkways are very slippery. The village of Sirence was also very pretty and we enjoyed visiting here as part of the trip. Overall, we felt the trip was well organised and good value for money.

Amazing guide! - Pick up and drop off to my hotel door were seamless. Our guide Nizam (sp?) was amazing. So nice and knowledgeable. He made everyone feel comfortable and made us laugh the whole day. I’m especially grateful for his timing of the day. He kept us ahead of cruise ship groups and out of the sun at the hottest times of day.

A must do experience in Kusadassi - Our trip to Ephesus and the Virgin Mary’s last known residence and Sirince.
From the start of our booking the communication from Apasas Travel was excellent. We met with Verdat, our tour guide, who was so friendly and was on time at our hotel for the start of our day trip.
We then made our way to our first stop the Virgin Mary’s house (last known residence). As we were collected early there was hardly anybody there so it was a very spiritual and relaxing experience.
We then made our way to the historical site of Ephesus which was amazing. Verdat was so knowledgeable about all of the history here.
We stopped at a pottery factory where we saw the most exquisite pieces all hand made. There was no harassing to buy anything. They gave us lovely Turkish coffee and we watched them make a piece of pottery demonstration. It was lovely and enjoyable to see this.
We then make our way to lunch which was included in our tour and it was a very nice Lunch indeed.
After lunch we then went to see carpets and rugs being made at the heirloom weaving centre, again there was no pressure to buy anything but it was so enjoyable to see the craftsmanship behind the making of these rugs some off which take upwards of two years to make.
And they gave us complimentary apple teas which were lovely.
We then headed to the Artemis temple ruins for photos.
We then made our way to the village of Sirince, which is a unique stunning little village famous for it’s wines. A must do while on your holiday. Again no pressure to buy but you can taste a large variety of wines. They also have a small museum which is worth a visit free of charge.
Overall we would highly recommend this trip and cannot fault it at all. We would like to thank Verdat our guide and his team for a wonderful day out.

Mind-blown in Ephesus with Vedat - We thoroughly enjoyed our day tour to Ephesus & Sirince, mostly thanks to our guide Vedat - hands down one of the best tour guides we had in Turkiye. He was knowledgeable, detailed & accommodating. We highly recommend this small group tour and if you have any choice of guide, ask for Vedat... you won't be disappointed.

Excellent tour, and an excellent tour guide! - We did a day tour from Kusadasi to Ephesus and Sirince.
A van picked us up from our Kusadasi hotel on schedule, and drove us to Selcuk to meet the rest of the small group of six of us in total.
Our guide for the day was Nizam.. and what a fantastic guide he was! He was witty, articulate and easy to understand, knew the history where we went, could answer our questions, and kept us all in splits with his anecdotes and stories. He made the tour come alive. He kept us notified about the next places we'd see; how much time we had at each stop, where to meet, and how we were tracking with the schedule.
We have had a number of guided tours in Turkey and other countries; and I can, without a doubt, say that he is one of the very best guides we have had.
The tour was everything that was stated in the schedule. We visited Ephesus, the Temple of Artemis, and the small and pretty village of Sirince. We were not rushed thru the sights, and had enough time to see what we wanted. We also visited a leather clothing factory, and a carpet weaving / manufacturing place. Thankfully, we did not spend any more time there than necessary.
Lunch was at a lovely restaurant; and it wasn't the usual smorgasbord / buffet of not-so-memorable food, as is usually the case in many other tours. We had fresh vegetables, bread, dips, and chicken/meatballs and rice.; all in a nice garden setting, with white tablecloths and great service.
I'd recommend this tour. And make sure you ask for Nizam.

Great Trip - This was an excellent trip! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and passionate. We enjoyed the food at lunch. Our hotel was quite far from the site yet we were picked up on time. Overall, lots to see and experience.
