• Ancient City of Ephesus - The operator will meet guests at their hotel in Istanbul according to their flight schedule and provide transportation to the airport. Upon arrival at Izmir Airport, guests will be driven to Selcuk for the Ephesus Tour. Explore one of the most renowned trade cities of the ancient Greek and Roman Empires. Ephesus is likely the most famous ancient site in Turkey, known as a bustling port city and trade hub. Known as the “rich houses,” they were uncovered during recent excavations. The houses near Curetes Street feature colonnaded porticoes, with step streets leading directly to the house entrances. The tour will include a stop at the Terrace Houses to explore the homes of affluent Ephesians.
• The Temple of Artemis - Also known as the Temple of Diana, only one or two pieces of marble remain from this temple, which is considered one of the seven wonders of the ancient world.
• Meryemana (The Virgin Mary’s House) - The House of Virgin Mary is a revered Catholic and Muslim shrine located in Bülbüldağı, near Ephesus. This sacred site has been visited by various popes and received the Patriarchate Blessing.
• Selcuk - Enjoy an open buffet lunch at a local restaurant offering traditional Turkish food and vegetarian options in Selcuk. At the end of the tour, guests will be driven back to Izmir Airport for their flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival in Istanbul, the operator will meet guests at the airport and provide transportation back to their hotel.
