Hierapolis & Pamukkale - Pamukkale, translating to “cotton castle” in Turkish, is a natural marvel of Turkey, featuring a hillside of white terraces or travertines formed over millennia by minerals from hot springs deep within the earth.
Begin your exploration of the ancient city of Hierapolis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Unlike other ancient cities, Hierapolis is built on solid limestone layers formed by mineral-rich waters that flowed over this elevated plateau for thousands of years. Named “sacred city” due to its numerous temples, today, the theatre, the Temple of Apollo, and the Necropolis are among Hierapolis’s most notable attractions.
During the tour, visit the Necropolis (Cemetery) of Hierapolis, one of Anatolia’s largest ancient burial sites; a Roman bath, the Gate of Domitian, the main street of the ancient city, the Byzantium Gate, and the Ploutonion. - Pamukkale Thermal Pools - Relish the therapeutic waters of Pamukkale and stroll through the natural warm water terraces, formed by calcium-rich warm water. The water temperature remains around 35 Celsius year-round. Witness the stunning white travertine terraces of Pamukkale, adjacent to the ruins of Hierapolis. This extraordinary effect occurs as the hot spring water deposits minerals while flowing down the slopes, leaving limestone deposits. The white calcium carbonate layers, built up in steps on the plateau, earned the site its name ‘cotton castle’. Opt for a swim in Cleopatra’s antique pool.

Best day in Turkey - Amazing experience…pick up was on time, Rafael our guide was brilliant..well spoken and very knowledgeable. Kept the kids and us entertained with lots of wonderful stories. Highly recommended

Good trip - We had a very pleasant trip with our guide Mustafa. He explained everything and gave good information about the history of hierapolis and Pamukkale.

Great day out - A really good day out. A bit of a journey to get there, but went surprisingly quick and well worth it. The guide (Mert, I think, sorry if spelt wrong) was friendly and informative., but also allowed us the time to go where we pleased so that we could choose how we divided our time between Hierapolis and Pammukale springs. We were lucky with the weather which always helps and it wasn't too crowded also. Although we booked the tour for Pammukale, the guide recommended we did The Grand theatre first and that was good advise - great views and v impressive sat at the top. V much worth the walk up the short hill and doing before wet feet of the springs. We recommend this trip and company.

Good day tour for a family - Rafel was our guide and we had a great time. Took us a couple of hours to get there from Selcuk and Rafel used the time to give us a history lesson and regale us with stories from the epics. At Hierapolis and Pamukkale there was a good balance between guidance and free time. The ride back and forth was smooth and comfortable. Very pleased overall

Recommend - Would highly recommend this day trip - tho even better once cleopatras pool reopens. Rafael our guide was knowledgeable and told us many legends which brought the ancient city to life. paddling in the extraordinary travertine pools at the end was reviving
