• Borobudur Temple - Upon your arrival at Borobudur, take the opportunity to discover the temple with a local guide, and delve into the narrative of Buddha Gautama as illustrated on the temple walls through detailed reliefs (during a walking tour). As the largest Buddhist temple on the planet, Borobudur is celebrated as one of the seven wonders of the world. Experience the presence of 504 Buddha statues, each meticulously sculpted from a single block of stone.
• Candi Mendut (Temple) - Erected in the 7th century, Mendut predates Borobudur and continues to be a place of worship to this day. The temple was completed under the rule of King Indra from the Sailendra dynasty. An inscription from the 7th century reveals that King Indra of Sailendra commissioned the construction of a holy edifice called Venuvana, which translates to “bamboo forest.” Inside Mendut temple, you will encounter three grand statues of Buddha alongside Bodhisattvas (Buddhist deities) such as Avalokitesvara and Vajrapani.

We will visit 2 Buddhist temples: Borobudur Temple and Mendut Temple (which is older and more significant than Borobudur Temple). All-inclusive: transportation, guide, entrance tickets to all destinations, local fruit tasting, and a souvenir for each guest.

The journey to Borobudur Temple takes 3 hours from Semarang port. We will spend around 3 hours exploring both Borobudur and Mendut Temples, including a snack break with traditional food (known locally as jajanan pasar). Afterward, we will return to Semarang port, which will take another 3 hours.
