Mountain and Beach Zen in One Day - Our trip to Mt. Seorak and Naksansa Temple was invigorating! We visited both mountain and beach in one day! Our tour guide, Sally, rocks! We first met her last summer when she guided us during our trip to Alpaca World, Nami Island, and Gwanchon Railbike Experience! She was very knowledgeable, welcoming, and made the most of our time together worth it! I loved the tour with Sally so much that I contacted her earlier about my return trip to Korea this summer! Sally recommended this tour and I loved it! It was very zen! Quick notes: Hiking/trekking Mt. Seorak has different intensity routes so choose wisely! I thought I was pretty fit, but the fashionable ahjummas and ahjussis put me to shame! The change in altitude can make it or break it for you. Please see map attached. Sally recommended this delicious seafood and kimchi pancake place for lunch and it was delicious!!!! The sweetest ahjumma cooks the pancake on a griddle right in the front! She was very kind and cool! Naksansa Temple (Naksan Beach) was simply beautiful. Lots of love and care are wrapped around that temple. The layout, fountains, Red Lotus Hermitage, and memorials are simply stunning. Thank you, Sally and Ktourstory, for offering another amazing tour!! When I return to Korea, I will book again! Thank you to our amazing and kind shuttle bus driver for keeping us safe and cool! You made our drive through the bustling streets of Seoul to the tunnels of Mt. Seorak smooth and effortless!

Just do it. - Definitely worth it. Byoung Ho Han was an excellent guide, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. He walked us through parts of the Naksana Temple and the park at Seoraksan, supplying key information and some fun trivia. He spoke in English and repeated everything again in Chinese, so tri-lingual. We spent all of our time at Seoraksan up the cable car and exploring the mountain peak. The views are gorgeous and worth the hike. My kids loved it and my 84 year old mom also made the hike up. Despite being in the 90s, the higher elevation gave us cooler temperatures and a pleasant breeze. Naksana Temple was amazing as well, with great history being a temple of a Bodhisattva. The views off of the ocean are gorgeous as well with the impressive temple situated off the east shore. The drive is as follows: 2.5 hrs to Seoraksan, 20 mins to Naksana, then 2.5 hrs back. The bus picks up and drops off at 2-3 stops depending on the passengers, but it didn’t seem to add too much to the trip. The longer rides have a rest stop in between to grab snacks and use the bathroom. Additionally, you can leave belongings on the bus that you don’t want to hike around with. Meals are not included but there are ample opportunities to grab lunch, and we got back at 19:20, early enough to have dinner back in Seoul. There is a group chat where our guide Mr Han and the group can all communicate with each other, which is helpful. All in all, highly recommended!!

Would recommend this trip for others - Very nice trip to Serangok mountain and Naksana temple with the joyful and helpful guide Han. The combination of seeing the mountain and the temple was a very great day tour from Seoul. Would definitely recommend if for others.

National park and temple - We had a great time visiting the national park and temple for the first time. Our driver was very helpful with letting us know where pick up was at with a map and telling us what we will be doing at each stop.

Despite poor weather, a highly enjoyable day trip to sights outside of easy commute from Seoul - The first part I'd like to highlight was the images prior to meetup and each location sent to the group chat to ensure that everyone knew where to be and what to look for. We had the misfortune for not the greatest weather combination (hot and wet) but the tour guide kept spirits high with her bubbly personality (Shana) Assuming I come back to Korea, I'd be rebooking this tour to do some of the available walks I didn't have time for.

Three pickup and drop... - Three pickup and drop points were effective, and the guide, Jason, ensured good communication throughout the excursion. There were various hiking options available, catering to different levels of strenuousness. After the hike, there were several suitable lunch spots to rest and refuel. The total bus travel time from and to Seoul was about six hours.
