- Monapark Yong Pyong Ski Resort - (Optional) Those selecting our Essential Package or Full Ski Package options will stop here to collect ski gear, ready for a fun, beginner-friendly skiing lesson with our licensed tour guide.
- Mt.Balwangsan Cable Car - (Optional) Those choosing our Full Ski Package (which includes a ski lift pass) or purchasing a separate one-time round-trip gondola ticket can board the Mt.Balwangsan Cable Car. This gondola-style cable car is Korea’s longest sightseeing cable car, offering a thrilling 7.4km ride over the nation’s premier course, taking you 1,458 meters up to Dragon Peak on majestic Mt. Balwangsan. Launched alongside Yongpyong’s pioneering slopes in 1975, this 20-minute ascent reveals hoar-frosted birches, soaring eagles, and the snow-draped Taebaek range, a backdrop featured in K-drama hits like “Goblin”. After enjoying Dragon Peak, you have two options to return: take the Yongpyong Gondola Cable Car or, for the adventurous, ski all the way back down.
- Mt. Balwangsan - (Optional) Those opting for our Full Ski Package (which includes a ski lift pass) or purchasing a separate one-time round-trip gondola ticket can enjoy Mt Balwangsan’s peak. As Korea’s 13th-highest peak at 1,458 meters, Dragon Peak’s Swiss-style Dragon Castle offers cozy cafes, Korean feasts, and steakhouses amid eternal snow in winter. Legend says it’s the “mother mountain” birthing eight kings, surrounded by guardian peaks like Janggun-bong (General’s Peak) and Kal-bong (Knife Peak).
From the cable car summit, sip pure Balwangsu Mineral Spring water, spot eagles over frozen birch groves, or chase epic snow-draped views to the eastern sea. It’s also the gateway to black-diamond ski runs below.
Winter’s crown awaits with wind-kissed cheers, panoramic selfies, and peak-top toasts that warm the soul.
- Balwangsan Skywalk - (Optional) Those opting for our Full Ski Package (which includes a ski lift pass) or purchasing a separate one-time round-trip gondola ticket can step out onto the Balwangsan Skywalk. Perched at 1,458m on Dragon Peak, Korea’s highest skywalk extends 12m over a sheer cliff on a transparent U-shaped glass floor. Look straight down 400m to frozen valleys while 360° vistas unfold: glittering Taebaek ridges, Yongpyong’s white runs, and endless snowfields under a crisp winter sun. Capture heart-pounding selfies, feel the wind roar, and laugh as boots crunch fresh powder. Short, safe, unforgettable. Pure alpine adrenaline in minutes.
