Makasutu is a prime ecotourism spot, situated approximately 40 minutes from the hotel. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with a complimentary coffee. Depending on the tide, the adventure will include either a forest walk or a boat trip. A knowledgeable forest guide will accompany and educate visitors throughout the journey.

Visitors will have the chance to observe baboons, various bird species, and the lush natural vegetation. The experience also includes a visit to a fortune teller for palm reading, followed by a stop at the wine tapper’s, where guests can taste fresh palm juice. There will be a demonstration on climbing a palm tree to tap the wine, and guests may even try climbing the palm tree themselves.
