- Cabo Espichel - The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Cape Espichel, also known as Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua, stands out as one of the most remarkable sites in the region due to its stunning location and extraordinary natural architectural ensemble. The veneration of this site began in 1410 when the revered image of Our Lady of the Cape was discovered at the tip of Cape Espichel by two elderly men from Caparica and Alcabideche, who received heavenly signs in matching dreams. Until the early 18th century, the area surrounding the original temple was surrounded by houses for pilgrims who traveled there to honor the image.
- Sesimbra - Sesimbra is one of Portugal’s premier beach resorts. The town is cherished by the Portuguese, who visit the area for their vacations, attracted by the unspoiled coastline, vibrant social scene, and freshly prepared seafood. Beyond the stunning beaches and delectable cuisine, there is plenty to explore in the Sesimbra region. Visitors can enjoy hiking or cycling trails through the Serra da Arrabida, surfing on the Costa da Caparica, kayaking or boat tours along the dramatic coastline, and some of the finest diving in Portugal. For day trips, options include the Cabo Espichel headland, the bustling port of Setubal, or the idyllic beaches of the Tróia Peninsula. These diverse attractions and activities also make Sesimbra a delightful day trip from Lisbon, which is just a 45-minute bus ride away.

If there’s a tour that truly embodies the essence of a “sightseeing tour,” this is it. You’ll get the chance to explore Arrábida Natural Park, one of the most stunning locations near Lisbon. Established in 1976 and spanning 108 square kilometers, it is one of the 30 protected areas, primarily because it is home to many rare species. We’ll visit the quaint village of Azeitão, enjoy some wine tasting along the way, and explore Sesimbra, Palmela, and many other charming spots. If the weather cooperates, we might even spend some time on the beach, enjoying the crystal-clear blue waters.
