GPX File Configuration Guide

1. Save the attached GPX file in your phone’s download folder.
2. Select a navigation app:
   • Komoot (ideal for voice navigation) (first map download is free)
   • Organic Maps (free offline maps)
   • GPX Viewer (simple interface)
3. Import the file:
   • Open the app, find the Import or Open option, and select the GPX file.
4. Download offline maps in the app before setting off.

For added peace of mind, customers can purchase insurance directly from a specialized insurer at the time of rental.

Recommended Insurers:

• Segurabici – for electric bicycles
• Qover – for electric bikes
• Generali Tranquility – for bicycles and nautical equipment
• MAPFRE Portugal – for general coverage

Available coverages may include:

• Civil liability against third parties
• Protection against theft (conditional on proper lock or safe storage)
• Accidental damage to rented equipment
• Travel assistance or rescue in case of breakdown or accident

Purchasing insurance is optional and is a direct agreement between the customer and the insurer, with full responsibility resting on the customer.

A deposit of €500 is required at the time of rental and will be returned after equipment inspection at the end of the rental period, provided no damage or loss is identified. The deposit will be withheld, in whole or in part, if damage to equipment or accessories is found, or in case of theft.

Basic Safety Concepts
Before Riding

• Complete battery check
• Test brakes and tire pressure, ensure ECO assist mode is ON
• Adjust seat height
• Secure phone on the provided holder

During the Ride

• Always wear a helmet (mandatory by insurance)
• Follow traffic signs and cycling rules
• Maximum assisted speed: 25 km/h (15.5 mph)
• Use lights in low visibility conditions

Battery Management

• Pedal in ECO mode for most of the journey
• Switch to higher assistance modes for steep climbs
• Regularly monitor battery level

Emergency Protocol
If mechanical issues occur:

• Turn off the engine immediately
• Move to a safe location on the road
• Use the provided tools for basic repairs

Information about E-Bike
The e-bike’s range varies based on:

• User weight
• Vertical height gain
• Assistance mode used
• Terrain conditions

For optimal range, use ECO mode on flat terrain and reserve higher assistance levels for challenging sections.

It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before your booking time. This allows for a brief orientation on how to use the e-bike and its features.
