- Parque Natural da Arrábida - Classified as a natural park in 1990, it is one of the most beautiful places in the Lisbon area.
- S. Simão Arte Azulejos Decorativos - Using traditional 17th-century tile-making methods, this is an amazing experience for every group. A brief presentation will provide an overview of a process that takes several months to complete.
- Quinta do Alcube - Nestled between the mountains and the Atlantic Sea, this is one of the wineries of the day. A natural beauty developed in harmony with mankind and in full respect of nature. Visitors can also walk close to various animals, including horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, goats, peacocks, turkeys, and even pet some cats!
- José Maria da Fonseca - Established in 1834, this family-run winery is now managed by the sixth generation. Enjoy a private visit to one of the oldest wine companies in the country and see how it all began!
- Santuário Nacional de Cristo Rei - Inaugurated in 1959, this will be the last stop of the day, offering an extraordinary view over Lisbon!

Wine tasting tour - Portugallium was great. Joao nailed us out at the last minute, was very responsive and confirmed our tour - and logistics - in a few hours. We had a great guide and a terrific experience for adults and teens. Got to see a large commercial wine operation and a small family operated version.

Excellent Wine Tour - What an excellent tour! After reading the reviews, we were excited to book this tour. Paulo was very knowledgeable about Portugal's culture and history and really made the day special for us. We visited 3 wineries, a tile making company, and a fish market. We moved along at a good pace but never felt rushed. The staff at the places we visited were very welcoming and made us feel right at home as we learned about the businesses and sampled offerings. Portugallium Tours are a FIVE STAR!! - Oh my goodness! Our tour guide, João is amazing! We were originally supposed to go on a cheese factory tour with him but couldn’t because the cheese factory was going to have a private tour that day. So, João customized a tour just for my husband and me! We went to a small tile company where we had a tour and painted our own tiles! We saw a beautiful castle, went to a quaint Seaside town in Portugal for lunch and enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting at a local, family owned winery! We topped the day off with a visit to the Christ Statue and amazing view of Lisbon. I would recommend a tour with João any time. He is very knowledgeable about Lisbon, the surrounding areas and is so creative with his planning. Thank you João for making our Lisbon trip so memorable!

Wonderful family trip with super good guide - Our family of five had wonderful day with Joao. He took us to very nice farmers market where he introduced us interesting fishes and after we were able to explore market ourselves and buy fruits and other goods. We visited two wineries with him where tried nice Portugal wines. Also we visited small tiles factory where we could see how tiles and pictures on them were made. Through all our trip Joao was very consinderable, my mother and aunt didn't speak english so he patiently waited until I translated to them. We would all definently suggest this tour for a nice day trip.

João is a fantastic guide... - João is a fantastic guide with honest insights, helpful advice, and puts together a great experience. We did the 11 wines + small lunch tour. The three wineries all highlighted the area’s wine types and variations well and each were unique in their own way. The small lunch consisted of a nice meat and cheese board with 5 wines. Pickup was offered and João was right on time- picking us up directly from our Airbnb. It was an excellent trip. In addition, he was very easy to communicate with over text. Would recommend!

Great day! - We had a lovely day out and our guide Paulo was great! We loved all the wineries and the chance to see all the animals too. Lunch was a meat / cheese snack board which would have been nice to know as we paid extra thinking it would be a proper lunch however it was still tasty and didn’t affect the day!

Scenic, Relaxed & Full of Flavor – A Lisbon Must-Do! - We had the most incredible day exploring the stunning region surrounding Lisbon on this private full-day wine tour. Our guide, João, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and effortlessly made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. It felt like spending the day with a local friend who knew all the hidden gems.
The itinerary was perfectly paced, with plenty of time to soak in the scenery, ask questions, and enjoy the wine and food. João took us to beautiful spots we would never have discovered on our own, like Setúbal the beautiful city not far from Lisbon, a traditional tile factory and of course, the fantastic wineries where we tasted some truly memorable wines.
This wasn’t just a wine tour; it was a rich cultural journey through an often-overlooked part of Portugal. Every stop felt special, and João’s passion for the region really shone through.
Highly, highly recommend this tour if you want something more personal and immersive than the typical day trip. It was the highlight of our time in Lisbon!

Escape from Lisbon in Luxury - João was an incredible tour guide. The day was so luxurious and well-paced. We never felt rushed during our itinerary and each stop was incredible from the family-owned cheese factory to wine-tasting to tile making to lunch by the sea, this tour is such a stunning way to get out of Lisbon for the day and explore south of the Tagus!

Highlight of our trip! - This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Lisbon area. Joao(John) provided an amazing experience for our group of four adults. He picked us up in a clean and comfortable car near our Airbnb. He entertained us with interesting information along the way of our many stops. Do not hesitate to book this experience!

Perfect Day in Portugal!! - This tour was the highlight of my trip to Lisbon. Jon picked us up on time from our hotel and we spent the day driving from spot to spot is his clean, comfortable Tesla. Since this is a smaller tour company, the tour guides have great personal relationships with the vendors at each stop and it allows for more unique experiences that you’d miss on a bigger tour. Each stop is carefully curated from the fish market, to the wineries and tile factory. Since Jon is a local, he is full of information and tips that made the day fly by. It was such a special experience, and I will definitely book with this company again. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!!
