- Pastelaria Cego - The origins of Casa das Tortas, now known as Pastelaria Regional Cego, trace back to 1901. Manuel Rodrigues, who was blind, started a room-renting and cake-making business in Azeitão with his wife, Teresa Prata. Initially, the tarts were large, but their daughter, Albina, and granddaughter, also named Teresa, later made them into individual portions. In 1975, the pastry shop was sold to Augusto Pinto, and his son, José Augusto Pinto, is the current owner. He continues to uphold the traditional recipe, making the pastry shop a renowned spot for Torta DE Azeitão.
- Jose Maria de Fonseca - Originally built in the 19th century, it was renovated in 1923 by Swiss architect Ernesto Korrodi and served as the Soares Franco family’s residence until the 1970s. With its distinctive façade and stunning gardens, it has long been linked with the image of José Maria da Fonseca.
The Casa-Museu tour starts with a brief overview of the company’s history, followed by a visit to the old cellars: Adega da Mata and Adega dos Teares Novos, where wines like Periquita age, and the Adega dos Teares Velhos, where the oldest Moscatéis de Setúbal, some over 100 years old, are stored. At the end, visitors can enjoy a wine tasting, sampling some of the wines produced by José Maria da Fonseca.
