Outstanding tour! Vasco was phenomenal! - My wife and I had a phenomenal day long tour with Vasco! He’s incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the island. We had a fabulous day with him and would highly recommend reaching out to him for a tour. He was flexible around our cruise schedule and created a wonderful day long tour of the island! Unforgettable Island Experience with Vasco - Our tour with Vasco was unforgettable — everyone visiting the island should experience this. He is incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely sincere, with a clear love for the island’s culture that made the day feel authentic and special. Even when the weather shifted, he seamlessly adjusted the plan and still delivered an amazing experience — honestly better than we could have hoped for. Highly recommend!

Half day at the top - We booked at the last minute and really no regrets
Vasco is a very professional person we chose half a day personality.
He picked us up from the hotel directly made us 3 proposals we chose one and we left for 4 hours of discovery
Stories of anecdotes and stops strategy to get the best view possible
Thanks again for the perfect afternoon

Another fantastic experience! - Mariano was an excellent guide. His vehicle was comfortable and he drove on the gravel back roads expertly. He really made the most of the time we had and instinctively knew that we did not want to hang with the crowded. Mariano is very proud of his country and taught us much about the Azores during our tour. Highly recommend!

A beautiful introduction to Sao Miguel! - Vasco was amazing! He took a casual yet dedicated approach to our tour and was very accommodating. He shared lots of history while also enjoyed answering our questions. I would highly recommend. A perfect introduction to Sao Miguel.

Tour Sao Miguel Island with Vasco. - We had an amazing time on this tour! Everything was well-organized from start to finish — Vasco, our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made every stop special. The mountain was covered in clouds so he advised other sites took us on a tour of the island which is beautiful and included lovely stops. We especially enjoyed Vasco and his knowledge and sense of humor. The vehicle was very comfortable. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the natural beauty and charm of the Sao Miguel island.

Goncalo was a wonderful ... - Goncalo was a wonderful tour guide. He picked us up in a four wheel drive jeep and the adventure began. Being a native of Sao Miguel, he was extremely knowledgeable and proud of his country. We went places I know the cruise tour buses could not go, and we saw the island close up. I highly recommend this tour.

Despite a rainy start to... - Despite a rainy start to our tour, Vasco guided us to the north side of the island which was dry. Visit to the tea plantation was fascinating. We saw several waterfalls, whale watching stations, and very scenic views of the coastline. We wanted to buy a specific wine and Vasco found it for us in a local grocery store. The store was also very interesting. Excellent tour and guide!

Interesting and no waste of time. - Wow. Flavio is very interesting because he knows his island very well. We went around the island and saw everything we wanted to see and more. Because he brought us to places that buses can't go.

Disappointing - You never know if you will be with the person you made the reservation with, or be passed off to a newbie. According to our guide, the tour operator had overbooked and passed us off to him - new in the business. I’m sure he meant well, but needs much guidance in tour-operating. While he seemed knowledgeable, Francisco talked constantly and way too much about himself and his personal opinions - of which most were negative. The three of us were constantly scared of his driving — tail-gating; too fast; stopping in the middle of roads; etc. He picked his nose constantly. We could hardly ask a question as he talked incessantly-not sure if he ever asked if we had one. Apparently this is his newest career. I hope he is willing to get much training and make serous adjustments.
