Fine little hike with great views - Rafaela drove us with a lot of knowledge and in super easy to understand English to the starting point of the almost 5 km long round along the coast.
She has adapted the pace to our needs. Some short sections were more strenuous, some conditioning is required. We had a great trip.

great customized tours with Vasco - Our friend recommended Vasco as our tour guide and we could not have been happier. we worked with Vasco prior to our arrival in our customized itinerary and it worked out great. Our trip started with Vasco picking us up in his comfortable and clean van. He immediately put us at ease and provide some great suggestions for food and activity while in ports delgado.
The next day Basci picked us up for a full day in furnas , the botanical gardens and the tea factory with many stops in between. During this time Vasco was engaging knowledgeable and has a passion for the island which he conveyed to us. over the next two days casio coordinated a evening Azurean dinner at tony’s restaurant where food is cooled in the volcanic earth followed by a winder evening if attending the thermal pools under the stars. the next day we spent the day at Cedes and santa Barbara where we took so many great walks and saw majestic panoramic views. Vasco ensured that we saw everything and changed the itinerary due to the weather and even added in more walks around beautiful lakes. His tour beat our expectations and the vistas and views were spectacular.

Spectacular tour! - Our guide Flavio was warm, welcoming and most importantly, so informative about his home island. Every part of this paradise is stunningly beautiful, and Flavio took all the time we needed at each stop, explaining the cultural and geological history of these volcanic islands. I highly recommend this tour.

Private Custom Tour - Great driver, Philippe. He was professional and knew the area well. The car was comfortable and clean. We told him what sites we were interested in and he planned the rest. He kept us on time without rushing us. He picked a restaurant for lunch and made sure we were back well before on board time. We are a small family and this worked well for us as we got to see several sites during our short time there on this port stop. Would recommend for those who are interested in seeing several places and like a more tailored experience.

Vasco was great. He... - Vasco was great. He arranged itinerary per our request and did a great job of working as best as he could with the weather. He was personable and did a great job explaining history, education, politics, economy etc of the Azores. A very good ambassador for the Azores.

Vasco was like family! - What an incredible experience on São Miguel island with Vasco as our driver. We spent two days with him exploring the island and he was an absolute pleasure. By the end of the trip he felt like family! He gave us amazing information and recommendations. 10/10 would recommend him as your tour guide during your stay on the island! Thank you Vasco for the hospitality and great experience!

Very Best Private Tour of Sao Miguel - Vasco was a wonderful guide--knowledgeable, flexible and funny. He will make your Sao Miguel visit the highlight of any trip.
Our group of two couples spent two full days on Vasco's tour, and he also handled our airport transportation to/from Ponta Delgada. On the first day, we visited Sete Cidades to see the crater lakes and beautiful volcano. After lunch, we went to the Caldeira Velha thermal pools, and went swimming.
On the second day, we started with a tour of a locally famous tea factory, then visited the Furnas volcano. We spent the early part of the afternoon touring the lovely Terra Nostra Botanical Garden, with a lunch in the town of Furnas, and then stops at Our Lady of Peace Chapel and a short tour of the town center of Ponta Delgada.
Vasco also handled our dinner arrangements, and was willing to extend his day to handle dinner transportation.
Overall, we could not have been happier, and by the time we left had fallen in love with the island.

Perfect for Getting a Full Picture of Sao Miguel - It was great. Got to see a whole area of the island I wouldn’t otherwise have seen. And the history was extremely informative too.

Leave the driving to someone who knows the Island and sit back to enjoy - Vasco was a great host. He was prepared and flexible with the plan for the day. We worked in a few of his suggestions with things we wanted to see. Very knowledgeable about the area
