In the Introduction to Castanets Workshop, attendees will explore the unique features, history, and application of this distinctive instrument.
Participants will engage in practicing fundamental techniques. This hands-on workshop is designed to be enjoyable and accessible for beginners. There will even be an opportunity to perform basic castanet percussion accompanied by music!
At the conclusion of the workshop, attendees will enjoy a brief demonstration of castanets used in dance!
The instructor will provide high-quality castanets for use during the workshop. If participants develop a fondness for them, please note that purchasing the instrument is not included in the activity’s price!
