- Aialik Bay - Navigate around Cape Ailiak to get an initial glimpse of Aialik Bay and its surrounding glaciers. Observe mountain peaks rising from the snow and ice fields of Harding Icefield.
- Holgate Glacier - Explore one of two magnificent tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Like Aialik, Holgate Glacier is encircled by steep cliffs, dense forests, and towering mountain peaks. Witness breathtaking calving events as ice chunks break and plunge into the ocean. Although rare, black bears have been spotted on the beaches in Holgate Arm.
- Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge - The Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge consists of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires, and reefs, renowned for its rich seabird population.
- Aialik Glacier - Visit either of the two stunning tidewater glaciers, Aialik or Holgate. Aialik Glacier is surrounded by steep cliffs, dense forests, and towering mountain peaks. Visitors might witness spectacular calving events as ice chunks break and crash into the ocean. Watch for harbor seals.

One for the books in Kenai Fjords - As a life long Alaskan, I give this adventure 5 stars! Our family had a great time. We had a blue bird day and we saw all the things.
We checked off the wildlife list!
Marine birds:
✔️Eagles, Cormorant, Common Murre, Seagulls and Puffins
Whales:
✔️Humpack Whale, Fin Whale, Orca (Killer Whale) and Dallas’s Porpoise
Smaller Mammals:
✔️Sea Otter, Sea Lion, Harbor Seal
AND we saw a stellar ice calving show at Aialik Glacier!
The staff was helpful and tentative to everyone’s experience, they even lugged up glacier ice chunks for everyone to look at. Even used the ice in drinks too. 🤌
This is a great way to check out a piece of Alaska in a day!

So much wildlife! Knowledgeable Capt & friendly crew. Great trip for families! - We saw orcas, porpoises, puffins, sea otters, sea lions, even mountain goats. Big glacier calving was a highlight!!!!

The Captain’s Choice Cruise Showed us All the animals! - A truly spectacular day on the water, we agreed with clear blue skies and more wildlife than I’ve ever seen before. We saw all of the mammals: dall purposes, sea otters, sea lions, and harbor seals; plus dall sheep, humpback whales, and orcas!!!! we did the captains choice cruise, and Captain Steve did such a great job of taking us around to some beautiful places.
Aside from seeing all of the orcas gets so close to the boat, a highlight was being taken to a glacier where harbor seals were posted up on glacier ice that had calved to be safe from the orcas. The lunch was really good - a chicken burrito for the adult adults and chicken tender bites for our son.
I was a little bit worried that seven hours would be too long, but I brought a book and we brought card games and it was a nice way to pass the time between spotting animals. I would highly recommend this tour.

Locals who can’t get enough. - 3rd time out with these guys & the captains choice national park tour takes the cake thus far. We saw it all. And we saw it close. No matter how many dalls porpoise or various whales I see, it’s always epic! Thanks crew for a perfect day.

AMAZING! - Amazing day! We saw so much wildlife, including orca and humpbacks! The glacier calving was a huge highlight, and lunch in a calm remote bay with a spectacular waterfall was perfect. The captain took us to his favorite spots and the crew were all fun and very professional. Top notch day! It felt like the best way to experience Kenai Fjords 10/10 would recommend!

First time going and would recommend to anybody who is looking to have a good time. - The views were awesome, got to see multiple whale's, sea lions and a pod of orcas on top of the views of the glaciers. Food was above average and the prices for drinks was respectable. Staff was also very polite and answered any questions.

Excellent Family Vacation - This was such an incredible trio to take as family! The kids all loved seeing the whales, birds and other animals, and we were very comfortable as a group. Such a hospitable crew and it felt like they really put in the extra effort to make it memorable for everyone.
