A trip to remember - We did the 6 hour tour and it was incredible! Captain Mike was an amazing guide and informed everyone of so many facts about sea life. The lunch provided was fantastic. This was such a great experience!

Great experience! - We had a great time on this tour of resurrection bay! First, we had poor weather during our week and they were very accommodating. They let me move our tour day as we had the six hour tour booked, but then moved to a four hour because the waves were too high. They kindly refunded our difference a with no issue at all. We stayed in the bay for our four hour cruise, we saw humpback whales, mountain goats, bald eagles, otters, pourpoise, and more. It was raining during our tour and the water was choppy. Highly recommend sea sickness medicine before going. They have assigned tables for you to sit, no need to rush on the boat. You will have a home base inside if you are cold and want to stay warm, but of course the best views are outside! They did a great job despite the weather and highly recommend

We had such a great... - We had such a great experience! All of the staff on board were so nice and helpful! We saw so much wildlife, but even if we didn't, the views were absolutely incredible on the boat! The views would have been worth the experience alone.

Orcas and more sea life! - We had a wonderful time onboard the Orca Quest. There was complementary coffee and tea which was a great plus for how cold it was. We were about to see about 4 orcas and even ID one of them and the pod. On top of that we saw sea otters, bald eagles (and their babies), as well as seals and many dolls porpoise dolphins. Of course lots of birds and puffins as well. I really enjoyed the hydrophone when we could listen to the orcas communicating. Overall a great experience and we learned a lot!

Great trip to see orcas - Despite the rougher water, rain and wind, our family had a great time. We saw orcas, sea otters, and many more animals. So many waterfalls and even got to go under one. The crew was great and checked in many times to see how everyone was feeling and to help relieve any sea sickness. Would highly recommend!

Marine Animals Galore! - This was an amazing experience! We saw dozens of orcas, a humpback whale, mountain sheep, puffins, harbor seals, stellar sea lions, and more. The scenery was stunningly beautiful. Captain Tammy and the whole crew were excellent. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The narration was perfect! This ship goes out into open waters, out from the relative calm of Resurrection Bay (you see a lot in Resurrection Bay, as well), to get to the spots where orcas are known to hang out, so be prepared for waves/movement of the boat. We stood outside on deck in the fresh air most of the time and had no problems, but they sell Bonine/Dramamine on board if you tend to get seasick. Bar onboard sells drinks/snacks for reasonable prices ($2 for soda, $3 for hot cocoa, etc.). Dress warmly in layers (warm hat and gloves, too). Bring binoculars. Highly recommend!!

Great experience with Major Marine Tours - It was a great day sailing on Resurrection Bay. We saw a humpback whale, several pods of orcas, seals (harbor and spotted), mountain goats, and lots of birds, including a bald eagle on its nest and puffins. Most of the sailing was calm. We had four-foot swells when we hit the open water. Some people were seasick. The crew was great at being proactive and helping those who didn't feel great. Four hours was plenty of time on the water to see everything we wanted to experience. Initially we were scheduled to take the 6-hour tour. We happened to meet several people who did that tour in Denali NP. After they shared their experiences (pros and cons), we opted to change to the four-hour adventure. We were very happy with the four-hour tour. We don't happen to get seasick; however, four-hours is plenty of time out on the water exploring for animals.

NonOrca Quest. - That they did not cancel and give a refund when other Seward companies cancelled and gave refunds. The poor weather was not major marine's fault. Their fault was in not canceling the trip..
