This coastal walk offers a wild and scenic experience, featuring views of waves crashing against granite boulders. The initial section of the trail leads through open woodland patches, small river valleys, and over exposed rocky ridges. Revel in the breathtaking views across the sea towards Silhouette and North islands.
The trail proceeds over Glacis slopes, which extend above and below the path. The vegetation primarily consists of endemic and indigenous species, well-adapted to thrive in such challenging conditions. Endemic birds like the Bulbul, Blue Pigeon, and Sunbirds may be spotted. To reach the main beach, a small river outlet from a brackish water marsh must be crossed. The sandy beach is perfect for relaxation or snorkeling on the reef.
