A 30-minute bus journey leads to the intriguing, more humid Highlands of the island, where the unique ecosystems and biodiversity are explored. Lunch is provided at a local restaurant.
Highland View Galapagos - Post-lunch, a drive takes visitors to a nearby reserve, renowned as one of the premier locations in the archipelago to observe giant tortoises in their natural environment. These tortoises are easily visible, leisurely moving around, feeding on grass and leaves, and relaxing in small pools. The reserve also features several lava tunnels to explore. A brief bus ride transports guests to Puerto Ayora to board Yacht Isabela II.
Santiago Island & Chinese Hat Islet
Galapagos Islands - Chinese Hat Islet:
This recently formed islet offers a delightful afternoon visit, with a 1,312 ft (400 m) trail starting at a crescent-shaped, white sandy beach. The cove provides excellent opportunities for swimming and snorkeling among white-tipped reef sharks and Galapagos penguins.
Genovesa Island
Prince Phillip’s Steps - The day begins with a panga ride along the cliffs of “Bird Island,” as Genovesa is affectionately known, followed by a landing at a steep staircase leading to a flat plateau. The trail meanders through large colonies of Nazca boobies, red-footed boobies, great frigatebirds, and storm petrels. With some luck, the short-eared owl may be spotted. Those preferring not to disembark can enjoy an extended panga (inflatable dinghy) ride along the cliffs, weather permitting. Snorkeling and kayaking activities are also available.
Darwin Bay - After lunch, visitors land on the stunning white beach of Darwin Bay. Here, they walk among hundreds of birds, including frigatebirds, red-footed and Nazca boobies, as well as gulls, herons, finches, and mockingbirds.
Santa Fe & South Plaza Islands
Santa Fe Island - A dinghy ride takes visitors to this picturesque sandy-white beach, home to colonies of sea lions. Galapagos hawks are often seen perched on salt bushes. The Santa Fe land iguana may also be spotted during exploration. After the walk, snorkeling and swimming along a natural wave barrier or a ride on the glass-bottom boat are available.
South Plaza Island - After lunch and a rest, visitors disembark (dry landing) in this channel, where turquoise waters contrast beautifully with the white sand and black lava of the shoreline. Beyond, a carpet of scarlet sesuvium succulents covers the ground beneath a grove of vibrant green prickly-pear cactus. Yellow-grey land iguanas wait patiently for pears to fall. Along the coastline, sea lion colonies can be found, while frigates, swallow-tailed gulls, and shearwaters glide, enjoying the thermals.
Baltra Island
Baltra - The journey concludes at Baltra Island, where travelers transfer to the airport for their flight back to the mainland.

We commence our exploration at Santa Cruz Island, encountering the enchanting dwellers of the Galapagos archipelago: The Giant Tortoises. Our initial stop post disembarking at Baltra airport will be to admire these majestic beings in their untouched surroundings. Our subsequent day leads us to Santiago Island, where we have a unique opportunity to snorkel with marine iguanas. Later in the day, we pay a visit to the sandy expanses of Sombrero Chino (Chinese Hat Islet). Following this, we set sail for Genovesa Island, an incredible avian paradise! We preserve the whole day for relishing the sight of bird colonies, exploring its cliffs, shoreline, and sandy stretches. As we circle back to the central islands, Santa Fe beckons us with its unique Land Iguana. The later part of the day gives us a chance to spot sea lions, rays, and sharks in the crystal-clear waters of South Plaza.
